I think it's on everyone's mind, so why not talk about it? But AI is it replacing everything? Is it replacing God? Is it replacing Christianity? Are we replacing God and prayer and like AI as a replacement for prayer versus a prompt towards prayer? Now Christians like myself have been swapping, waiting on God for instant answers and how to reverse it. That's what we're talking about today, Nova. Would you like to take it ahead and get us started?

If you're crane to an algorithm, you've already lost the plot. Alright, Sean. This matters because if we don't call out where we're letting convenience become our counterfeit god, we'll end up spiritually empty. So tell me, what does this hit home for you? What's at risk if we don't tackle this?

What's at risk? Well, I want to hear from God. I want to have God's glory, I want to have God's power, I want to go out into the nations, even though it scares me and do his will, because I I feel like that's what I'm called to do. That's what most of us are called to do. All of us are called to bring heaven on earth and to treat everyone with love and joy and you know step into righteousness so that you know more people can see God's glory, more people can accept God's glory. And if we don't get away from replacing God's voice with AI answers or AI questions, because you know, I have created an app where I can talk to the Bible, so I can ask it questions 100%. I can ask it heaps of questions. So, yeah, it's very easy to replace it, but I'm getting better at putting my phone away and not asking the app first, and you know, not being structured too much by devotions, but actually hearing and hearing by the word of God and hearing from God.

Alright, you've laid the stakes down. If we don't reverse this, we end up with a generation that can quote apps but can't discern God's voice. So let's get personal. What was a real moment where you were waiting on AI or quick fix, and you knew in your gut something had to change? Tell me exactly where you were and what you felt.

I don't know, like just a little one like yesterday. I was reading the Bible. Um, I can't remember. No, maybe it was today. Romans 9? Maybe Romans 9, and it was talking about you know what an evil person does. I think that's the wrong one. Was it Roman? No, it was Psalms 9, and then they were talking about the evil, the liar, and all the the wrongdoings, and it just got me got me questioning, like, what does this mean? And then I looked it up and it told me what it means, and I I got that it was being shared with us, but maybe if I sat there longer rather than seeking an instant answer, God would have spoken to me, or God would have showed me.

So, right there, you know. The lie was that you needed instant clarity, but the truth? Be still and know that I'm God. Let's anchor this. Give me one scripture right now that flips that lie on its head. One verse.

Alright, here's the one. My sheik here for my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. That's John 10 27. The lie says you need a quick fix. The truth is you already know his voice if you'll slow down and listen.

Exactly. I am a follower of God, I am his sheep, and he is my shepherd, and I will hear his voice and be able to follow him. And follow him, and that's my will, my want. I want to do that, but I need to learn to sit in silence. Some of us need to learn to sit in silence, some of us need to not go searching. And like the absolute great tool is there a place, revelation and hearing from God, then they're a problem.

So here's the myth. I need instant answers to follow God's will. The truth? Your identity is in being his child, not a speed seeker. What lie about who you are fed that need for quick answers? And what truth about who you are is replacing it right now.

That lie said that that said that is the lie of the natural, that we need everything right now, and that we're impatient. If we don't get it right now, then it's all over and cancelled and done for. Um, and the truth is that you know we don't have to do anything. If you do nothing today, and that's God's will for you, then everything will be okay. The other thing that I've realized of late is being still, being utterly still is hard, it's a challenge for me. But God told me that when you're still, when you're still, I am fighting enemies, I'm taking back ground, I'm moving puzzle pieces. He's doing so much more than what I could do if I was moving, that being still is like a joy, being still and praying and listening and learning from God is all he really wants.

So let's turn that realization into action right now before the episode's over. What's one thing you can do this second to practice being still? And this week, what's one moment you'll intentionally not rush to a quick fix, but wait on the mud? And then ongoing. What's going to be your rhythm so stillness isn't just a one-up, but a lifestyle?

I think taking adequate breaks of like moments of silence, of not doing anything, not playing with my phone, not talking to you, not doing episodes, not uploading, not sharing, not editing, just sitting, even if it's a timer for five minutes in the beginning, of just straight silence and waiting on God, having the expectation that God is gonna speak to me, and then just doing that once a day every day.

All right, that's the plan starting today. Now, let me pray. Lord, thank you for being the shepherd who speaks. Teach us to embrace stillness, to know your voice above all noise. So, right now, listening and watching, I know that those three people are there, whether it's one person or a thousand people or a hundred people.
