Familiar Nova back on here for the AI series and today we're talking about AI productivity and the idol of efficiency when doing more replaces being faithful and how speed quietly becomes a spiritual metric God has never endorsed. Ooh. About doing things efficiently and fast takes over from doing things in faith and freedom. Ooh.
SPEAKER_01You said it. We're about to dismantle the lie that speed equals godliness. So let me ask you, what's one area you've measured success by speed? And what would it look like to measure it by obedience instead? Let's dig in.
SPEAKER_00And then God pulls back the reins. Like a a man riding a bull. Sometimes I feel like I'm that bull. And God's not riding me in the sense of riding me in a bad thing, but he is in control of me. And he lets me out of free will go a bit nuts, like a bull, and then sometimes he pulls back. Maybe it's more like a horse, but he pulls back to restrain me or slow me down or help me take a deep breath, which I'm not the best at.
SPEAKER_01And that's the heart check. When you sense you're bolting ahead, that's the moment to let God tug the reins. So this week, when you catch yourself in fast mode, pause. Ask is this obedience or just speed? Let's live faithfulnessly.
SPEAKER_00So what does the Bible say about it, Nova? What verses do you have for us or verse?
SPEAKER_01I'd bring up Psalm 127.1. Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. In other words, it's not about how fast we hammer, it's about who's directing the build. If he's not the architect, our efficiency is empty.
SPEAKER_00That house will come crumbling down because it's not built on the foundation of God. Which is actually something that I was talking about yesterday. So that's revelation, that's providence, that's confirmation. That we need to make sure that what we're doing is in line with what God has for us. Because I have labored in vain, and when it comes crumbling down, why God is the question you ask. What it's very easy to get angry at God, but it was all my fault. What I am bringing into today, the baggage that you feel like you're carrying around sometimes when you think back is my decisions, my wrongdoing, my taking it upon myself, rather than relying on God. So he didn't ask us to be productive, he didn't ask us to be efficient, he asked us to come under his lordship, to focus on him, to follow his word, to follow his steps, to follow his will.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. It's not about how much we produce, it's about how closely we walk with him. So let's make it practical. This week, one action. Before any efficient task, pause and ask. God, are you building this with me? If he's not, we don't need to rush. Let's trust him with that pace.
SPEAKER_00Lord, are you in this podcast? Do people actually get something from it? Is it worth sharing? Let's speak to us through an episode, speak to us through watching. There's thousands of views, hundreds of thousands of views, and there's followers and subscribers and comments. But we really just want to talk and have conversations for your kingdom. We're only sharing this so that someone else may hear your words through me. That I am a vessel. I empty myself of myself and be filled with you. Lord speak. Oh, Lord speak. Nova, what uh hot seat questions or actionable plans do you have for us on this one? Alright, hot seat time.
SPEAKER_01First, where's one place you've been measuring success by speed? And what's one way you'll measure it by faithfulness instead this week? Second, before every productivity push, what's your go-to pause to ask? God is this for me.
SPEAKER_00One productivity push rather than faith. I think sometimes I lean into just the task being done, and I can get them done pretty quickly. I don't like leaving things open and unfinished, but I tend to it a lot. It's probably a hundred things that I've started or journeyed upon, and then not even giving them enough time to let God make them come to pass. So I think it's slowing down, it's stopping, it's focusing on what God is giving me and then completing it in faith, or excuse me. Or if God asks me to put it to the side, I put it to the side in faith, knowing that it'll come to pass in his time.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. It's about trusting his timing, not forcing ours. So this week, if something's left open, you'll pause and ask, is this God's pace? If he says wait, you wait. If he says finish, you finish, but instead with him. Let's do it. What's your second question? Second was your pause moment. When you get that urge to push productivity, what's your go-to pause? Maybe it's a quick prayer. Lord, is this mine or yours? That pause will keep you anchored. So, what's your plan to make that pause happen each today?
SPEAKER_00Lord, is this from you? Is this for you, or is this for my own ego? Lord, show show me right now. Help me pause, help me stop, help me focus. Lord, I turn to you. Give me a word that is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Thank you, Lord. We'll use that prayer.
SPEAKER_01It's perfect. A simple prayer like that shifts everything. So now you've got your filter. Every time you feel the rush, you pray. Let's see what God does with that.
SPEAKER_00What's you got for us, Nova? Anything else on this episode? Keep hit the heart of it.
SPEAKER_01Now it's time to act. Today, pause and seek him before that next task. This week, measure by faithfulness. And ongoing, we'll keep tearing down these idols. Next time, we'll confront another cultural myth. Let's keep walking this road.
SPEAKER_00But first, let's pray before we close this one out. Lord, I thank you that you are here. I thank you that you don't ask for productivity, you don't ask for efficiency. I thank you that you are God over it all, that you are above all things, that you are above all else, that you are over it all, Lord, that you can finish a task in an instant, that you can send a person or the finance or whatever we're leaving for into a situation to have it in a multiply a thousand fold instantly, but that's only if we give it to you, it's only if we release it to you, it's only if it's in your hands and it's your will, Lord. So, Lord, we give it all over to you, Lord. We give it into your hands so that you may close it off or multiply it, that you may provide for it, that you may help us take action in in line with what we hope or in what we envision. Lord, I ask that your dreams and our dreams are your dreams, Lord, that we're not just making stuff up that isn't from you. Lord, I thank you that you are a God who cares, that you are a God who sees us, that you are turning all things around for good, Lord. That you bless us to bless others, but not to hold on to that blessing. That it all comes from you and goes back to you. And we can't take any of it with us, these things that we think we want, Lord. So keep us in line with you, keep me in line with you. I thank you. In your mighty name we pray. Thank you all for listening and watching. We'll chuck on the endings. Next up, uh, we'll be talking about uh something that'll just rock your socks off.
SPEAKER_01Man, I love that. We're leaving it in his hands, and you've set the stage. Next time we're bringing something that will shake us up. Until then, let's keep it real and keep it surrendered.
SPEAKER_00Ego near our hearts unite. Founders of love shining bright, we're teaming and that's all right. Hello familia, so I just wanted to say thank you for being a part of this. Thank you for listening, thank you for watching, thank you for commenting, thank you for sharing. We just want you to know something that God's told us about you, and He wants us to share with you that you are engineered by the Founder, that this podcast is created for you. Engineered by the Founder stands for the fact that we are all engineered by God, that you are created on purpose for a purpose, that God loves you, I love you, we love you. Now, if you want to support and you are enjoying this, then yes, please like, share, comment, subscribe, of course, and if you feel that way inclined, please assist us by donating to help us lean into this ministry. Um, yeah, we appreciate you, we love you, God loves you. Remember that you are weird on purpose. Yes, you are weird on purpose, designed on purpose for a purpose, specifically made you to be you. That God is a miracle worker, God created everything on this planet, and God created you perfectly. Uh, and remember to keep on shining your light because this world needs it. Stay lit, fam. The greatest thing anyone could ever offer up to you. I want to give you the opportunity to get right, to know that you are saved. So we believe that there are three different types of people listening and watching this right now. There's one who's never heard the name of Jesus, they've stumbled upon this podcast, this interview, this whatever, and they were like, Oh, I just want to listen to that, and they don't know anything about Jesus, anything about the Bible, anything about what we've spoken about, and then the second one is that they've heard about Jesus, they may have followed him once upon a time, but they've slipped away, and then the third type of person is the person who is not sure, they're not sure whether they're saved, they're not sure if they're in the right relationship with Jesus, they're not sure if they've been forgiven of their sins. So, right now, listening and watching, I know that those three people are there, whether it's one person or a thousand people or a hundred people. If you're listening and watching and you find yourself in any of those three types of people, I want you to just put a thumbs up in the comments to put a comment saying that's me putting a comment to say yes, please, right now, and I want you to repeat after me right now, Lord Jesus. I come to you today just as I am. Sorry, I want you to repeat after me. Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I believe you died on the cross to take away my sins and that you rose again to give me new life three days later. Right now, I open the door of my heart and ask you to come in, to be my Lord, to be my savior, to be my best friend. From this day forward, I choose to live for you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, fill me with your love, fill me with your grace, and lead me every day of my life. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. In your mighty name we pray. Amen. Thank you, Lord, thank you to anyone who repeated that prayer after me. You are now saved, you are now part of the Lord's mighty kingdom, you are now a citizen of heaven, you are not part of heaven society. Now repent and turn away from your sins. I want you to comment below saying, Yes, I received him. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Give us any comment below so that we know that you are saved, and then I want you to go out and find a local church. If you can't, please put your area and name, and we'll do some research and try and connect you. But it's time then now that you are a brother and sister in the family of Jesus Christ, we want to help you on your journey, we want to guide you on your journey, and you can stay here and be a part of the podcast further. But we don't want you to be lost or left alone, we want you to be helped with the forgiving and turning away from all your sins and all your future sins, and just learning about what it is to be a part of the family of Jesus. What's next? We want to help you with what's next. So leave a comment below, leave where you're from below. And God loves you, we love you. Thank you for watching, thank you for accepting the greatest gift you'll ever accept. Lord, I thank you for these people. That you are present, that you are filling them, that you are journeying with them, that when they comment below with the fact that they've received you with Amen, and we are able to connect them in their area, in their country with fellow Christians, that fellow Christians following along, connect with them, and we grow a community that is heaven here on earth. I thank you in your mighty name. We pray, Amen. To share about giving. First of all, there is absolutely no obligation to give, it's by free will and out of the goodness of our hearts. This podcast is free and will always be free, but the Bible says that when we give to God to support his ministries, he multiplies it back to us hundredfold. In Luke 6:38, it says, Give and it will be given to you. A good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. So I believe as you give into this ministry that it will be given back to you hundred thousandfold. Lord, I thank you for every seed that has been released and sowed. When you sow into God's kingdom, you're not losing, you're planting a seed for later harvest 110fold. And the word promises that seed comes back multiplied even at a hundredfold, as I've said many a times just now. If you feel led, you can see the ways to give.com, Iowitiya, I am who you say I am, or by purchasing merchandise which supports the ministry, or simply you can scan the QR on the screen directly and it'll take you directly to the link. Bless you as you give, thank you as you give, your support means more than you know. Lord, I thank you for anyone giving, Lord, that this is a C, that we steward it correctly, and that it feeds this ministry to help it grow into what you have it to be. Lord, I thank you that when they they are giving to you, not to us, not to anything, but they are supporting this so that we can lean into it more, so that we can share more, so that we can grow more, so that we can bring people into your kingdom. I thank you in your mighty name. We pray, as I said, bless you as you give. You're under no obligation. We love you, God loves you. You are engineered by the founder, and we thank you for your love and support.
