Yo, so we're back on here for some AI stuff. We're talking about AI sermons, devotionals, and Bible summaries where the assistance of AI ends that ends and it becomes faith. Well, outsourcing your faith begins. Where the line is. Nova, would you like to say hello and give us your line?
SPEAKER_01Hey there everyone. Here's the deal. If AI's got your devotionals, but your heart's not in it, you're outsourcing the most sacred relationship you've got. So Sean, why does this boundary matter to you?
SPEAKER_00I think it's all a learning curve, but I realize that if AI is in between your relationship with God, it becomes a bit monotonous. It's not like you would call a friend and then ask AI to summarize the conversation while you're talking to them. So why do we try and summarize or shorten or speeden up the process with God?
SPEAKER_01Exactly. You wouldn't automate intimacy with a friend, so why with God? Let's get real. Give me one time you felt that shortcut and knew it wasn't the real deal.
SPEAKER_00I think this week I am an app that I've developed and I go in there and ask it questions. Which is great, I go in there and ask it questions, but the devotionals in there aren't hitting the mark for me, they're just listening rather than reading and really searching and acknowledging what I'm getting from God. They're becoming a listening and a tick-off to do. So I haven't done them this week for a few days, and I've been doing my own devotional, my own prayer, and my own reading of the Bible, and trying to hear from God directly rather than through an app. And yes, I've asked the app questions around it, but that's used to gain more knowledge, not to substitute that relationship for one directly with God and the Bible.
SPEAKER_01That's exactly it. Tools can help, but your direct line to God is irreplaceable. Now let's anchor this in scripture next.
SPEAKER_00So, what scripture do you have for us that says that your relationship needs to be direct with God and not to use tools instead?
SPEAKER_01I'm taking you straight to John 10, 27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. The lie that a tool can replace his voice? The truth, you were always meant to hear him firsthand.
SPEAKER_00So we are built to hear his voice. We are built to have a relationship with him. We are built to be directed by him. And he gave us the word to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path so that we know where to go, so that we have answers for our questions. And it's great bringing in the element of AI. You can talk with the Bible in my app, but the issue is where that takes place of you talking to the Bible, talking with God, talking through the Bible.
SPEAKER_01So here's the myth that AI can stand in for your personal connection. The truth? Your identity is as a child who hears directly from the Father. What lie about your identity fed that outsourcing? And what truth replaced it?
SPEAKER_00That he doesn't give me tools and talents when I think I hear from the Holy Spirit. And they will hear the call. So I am a sheep, you are a sheep, we are a sheep. We hear his voice, we just have to attune ourselves to it.
SPEAKER_01That's it. The truth is you are already his, fully equipped to hear him. Now let's get practical. What's one thing you're going to do, right? Direct connection with God.
SPEAKER_00I think isolate myself from devices when it's God's time. Keep God first, but make sure He is actually first so there's not a phone in hand, I mean unless you're reading scripture, but really be aware of what I'm doing when I'm with him. I am reminded and I think of I don't know where I heard it, but if you were in an airport and your wife or best friend yelled out your name, you would turn and respond and know it's them. You know their voice if you speak to someone regularly. My mum speaks to her sister every single day, and I guarantee you know her voice. I walk into my mum's house and she's on the phone, she's got her headphones in, and I automatically say, Hello, honey Helen, how are you? Because I know that she's on the phone to her. That's how much they talk. So if you are connected to those people and you know their voice, should you not know God? Should I not know when Holy Spirit's speaking to me? Should I not know when I hear from God?
SPEAKER_01Exactly. So here's your drill. Right after me, rap. Give God two minutes of undistracted intentional listening. No agenda, just listen. Ready to do that?
SPEAKER_00Well, after we rap, I'm gonna give it five minutes, and I think five minutes a day is next to nothing. I'm trying to give him the first hour, which doesn't always work with schedules and everything, but 15-minute timer of reading, 15-minute timer of listening, 15-minute timer of devotional, 15-minute timer of prayer, totaling an hour, and it doesn't always look the same, it doesn't always look in that order. I'm also doing communion with my wife daily, and then we're also doing prayer at least for each other, but also the technique that we've shared on the channel of Up Down In Out with a few changes and putting on the armor of God every day. So we are trying to create cultivate a relationship in a household where God is first, it comes with his challenges, it comes with the enemy's attacks, but we won't stop until it's never enough, so we won't stop.
SPEAKER_01I love that, but I'm gonna challenge you. Today it's not about the perfect hour or the structure, it's about that five minutes where you simply know his voice. This week, stick to that. And for the ongoing rhythm, never stop listening. Ready for the hot seat? I sure am. Alright, first one. What's one habit you've made sound spiritual, but deep down it's just avoidance? And second, when's the last time you chose efficiency over intimacy with God? And why?
SPEAKER_00I think when you ask a question about where I am calling it faith or relationship and it's not really, I think that's my morning walk with God. I think it's become about getting on my phone and doing as much as I can before I get back into the house rather than stepping out and being silent with God. And sure, silent sometimes he gives me ideas, he tells me to do stuff, and that's okay. But being lost in it to the point where you're back at the house and you realize you haven't really spoken to it today, you haven't really said hello, you haven't thanked him for the day is not okay. And what was the second question over?
SPEAKER_01The second one was when did you last choose efficiency over intimacy with God? And what was the reason?
SPEAKER_00I think in this world, the answers right now is something that I am not stuck in, but something that I jump to straight away. So sometimes I can search for an answer in an app or AI rather than waiting to hear the answer. Excuse me, or waiting for God to speak to me in a different way or through a person, or so I can jump into what I think I need to know rather than waiting for God to tell me what I need to know.
SPEAKER_01So here's your action plan. Today, pause before you seek an instant answer. This week, ask God first before any tool. Ongoing, make listening a daily rhythm. Alright, let's wrap this with a quick bold prayer.
SPEAKER_00Lord, I thank you that you are bringing it to our attention, the replacement that Lord, when we're building things from you or doing devotionals that it doesn't take place of you, whether it's sermons, devotionals, or summaries, Lord, that it's all study in you, Lord, that these are just tools to help us learn more from you, but they are not the answer, they are not the replacement of a relationship with you, Lord. So show us where we're trying to replace you, show us where these things are taking place and they shouldn't, and help us, Lord, help us be silent, help us be still, help us attune our ears to your voice so that if you did say to do something that we hear you, I thank you. In your mighty name we pray.
SPEAKER_01Amen. Now, if this spoke to you, share it with someone who needs it. And next episode, we're exposing a lie about your identity that might just shock you. You won't want to miss it.
SPEAKER_03Founders of love shining bright. We're teaming and that's all right.
SPEAKER_00Hello familia. So I just wanted to say thank you for being a part of this, thank you for listening, thank you for watching, thank you for commenting, thank you for sharing. We just want you to know something that God's told us about you, and He wants us to share with you that you are engineered by the Founder, that his podcast is created for you. Engineered by the Founder stands for the fact that we are all engineered by God, that you are created on purpose for a purpose, that God loves you, I love you, we love you. Now, if you want to support and you are enjoying this, then yes, please like, share, comment, subscribe, of course, and if you feel that way inclined, please assist us by donating to help us lean into this ministry. Um, yeah, we appreciate you, we love you, God loves you. Remember that you are weird on purpose. Yes, you are weird on purpose, designed on purpose for a purpose, specifically made you to be you. That God is a miracle worker, God created everything on this planet, and God created you perfectly. Uh, and remember to keep on shining your light because this world needs it. Stay lit, fam. The greatest thing anyone could ever offer up to you. I want to give you the opportunity to get right, to know that you are saved. So we believe that there are three different types of people listening and watching this right now. There's one who's never heard the name of Jesus, they've stumbled upon this podcast, this interview, this whatever, and they were like, Oh, I just want to listen to that, and then they don't know anything about Jesus, anything about the Bible, anything about what we've spoken about. And then the second one is that they've heard about Jesus, they may have followed him once upon a time, but they've slipped away, and then the third type of person is the person who is not sure, they're not sure whether they're saved, they're not sure if they're in the right relationship with Jesus, they're not sure if they've been forgiven of their sins. So, right now, listening and watching, I know that those three people are there, whether it's one person or a thousand people or a hundred people. If you're listening and watching and you find yourself in any of those three types of people, I want you to just put a thumbs up in the comments to put a comment saying that's me putting a comment to say yes please right now, and I want you to repeat after me right now. Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. Sorry, I want you to repeat after me. Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I believe you died on the cross to take away my sins and that you rose again to give me new life three days later. Right now, I open the door of my heart and ask you to come in, to be my Lord, to be my savior, to be my best friend. From this day forward, I choose to live for you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, fill me with your love, fill me with your grace, and lead me every day of my life. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. In your mighty name, we pray. Amen. Thank you, Lord, thank you to anyone who repeated that prayer after me. You are now saved, you are now part of the Lord's mighty kingdom, you are now a citizen of heaven, you are now part of heaven society. Now repent and turn away from your sins. I want you to comment below saying, Yes, I received him. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Give us any comment below so that we know that you are saved, and then I want you to go out and find a local church. If you can't, please put your area and name, and we'll do some research and try and connect you. But it's time now that you are a brother and sister in the family of Jesus Christ. We want to help you on your journey, we want to guide you on your journey, and you can stay here and be a part of the podcast further. But we don't want you to be lost or left alone, we want you to be helped with the forgiving and turning away from all your sins and all your future sins, and just learning about what it is to be a part of the family of Jesus. What's next? We want to help you with what's next. So leave a comment below, leave where you're from below. And God loves you, we love you. Thank you for watching. Thank you for accepting the greatest gift you'll ever accept. Lord, I thank you for these people. When they comment below with the fact that they've received you with Amen, and we are able to connect them in their area, in their country, with fellow Christians, that fellow Christians following along, connect with them, and we grow a community that is heaven here on earth. I thank you. In your mighty name we pray, amen. To share about giving. First of all, there is absolutely no obligation to give, it's by free will and out of the goodness of our hearts. This podcast is free and will always be free. But the Bible says that when we give to God to support his ministries, he multiplies it back to us a hundredfold. In Luke 638, it says, Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, a pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. So I believe as you give into this ministry that it will be given back to you a hundred thousandfold. Lord, I thank you for every seed that has been released and sowed. When you sow into God's kingdom, you're not losing, you're planting a seed for later harvest hundred tenfold. And the word promises that seed comes back, multiplied even at a hundredfold, as I've said many a times just now. If you feel led, you can see the ways to give. You can give online at www.iawysa.com, Iowisia, I am who you say I am, or by purchasing merchandise which supports the ministry, or simply you can scan the QR on the screen directly, and it'll take you directly to the link. I bless you as you give, thank you as you give. Your support means more than you know. Lord, I thank you for anyone giving, Lord, that this is a C, that we steward it correctly, and that it feeds this ministry to help it grow into what you have it to be. Lord, I thank you that when they they are giving to you, not to us, not to anything, but they are supporting this so that we can lean into it more, so that we can share more, so that we can grow more, so that we can bring people into your kingdom. I thank you in your mighty name. We pray, as I said, bless you as you give, you're under no obligation. We love you, God loves you, you are engineered by the founder, and we thank you for your love and support.
