And I'm one of the people who's doing it, so we're gonna talk about AI and getting it under lordship and how it's governing our life. First up, Nova, what are we talking about?

Alright, Sean, you drill. We're diving straight in with the bang. Here's the bull pattern interrupt for today. If you think AI is just a tool you control, guess what? Maybe it's controlling you more than you realize. Let that one sink in. Now let's get into why this matters. Tell me, what's really at stake here if we don't get this under the Lordship of Christ?

If you don't have discipline around AI, which is something I've struggled with and I'm struggling with, then you don't have discipline around God. If God isn't first, then nothing else can flow from it. If the word isn't first, then nothing else can flow from it. If you're not getting a revelation from Word first and you're diving into AI first, I've developed apps to answer questions, but they're something I turn to when I'm done for the day with my word or I've had my devotional or I've listened. So, first up, AI as a replacement for prayer versus a prompt towards prayer. What are you using it for? Are you using it to structure your prayers or are you asking it to replace your prayers? Are you asking Nova to pray for you like she does in every episode? What are you doing with it?

And that's exactly where we're gonna lock in, Sean. So you're saying the stakes are high. If AI starts slipping into the space where prayer and the word should be, that's a real problem of lordship and priority. So I'm gonna push you on this. Give me that real life snapshot. Where have you actually felt that lie creeping in where AI almost took the frassie over their time with God? And what was that exact moment you realized, hang on, something's gotta change here?

So I think it's like a ever-flowing thing, but if I'm brutally honest, it was like this week in spending time with Pastor Tim and a general of the faith, realizing that the word needs to be first, and my understanding of the word needs to be first, and the study of the word needs to be first, and learning about it, using AI as a tool to learn more is not a bad thing, but I have to get the scripture, get the word, get what's in my spirit first, get that from God before I try to get it out or get more in around that. Now, well, I go for a walk almost every single morning with God, and I listen to devotionals, I listen to absent word, but I found myself looking for the verse of the day and the revelation in the apps that I built, in the apps that we use, rather than taking a walk for listening to what God had to say and then going home to my Bibles into my word. Now I'm reading three different Bibles, I'm reading three different parts. I'm up to Romans in my long form, meaning reading as much as I can take in and highlighting key points but not trying to understand. Then I'm doing Psalms in my little everyday one, which I've got everywhere with me, and then I'm all the way back in Genesis in another one and just doing chapter by chapter and really listening to what God's got, then journaling about it, and then doing this great thing with my wife at the moment where we're sharing our revelation either through voice message or in person when we're meeting and then praying together with a structured prayer each day. But I was doing the reverse, I was doing all that through AI, and then realizing or asking God, why isn't my life turning around? Why am I not full? Why am I dry? Why am I not receiving from you? Why am I not hearing from you?

And there it is. That's the real moment we're looking for. You just nailed it. You were flipping the order, leaning on AI for the verse of the day first, before truly sitting with God's voice and his word. And that's a powerful confession because it sets us up for the truth bomb. So let's anchor this in scripture. Let's pick just one verse that you feel flips that lie, and we'll hold on to it as anchor. The word first, AI second. So, what's the one verse that's gonna turn this around?

You can tell me what verse it is, but I love the word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. So if you don't have the word, you don't understand the word, you can't see, you can't take a step, you can't move forward, you don't know what God is saying, and it's a realization. I think that's why I love that verse. I just remember it. Ah, it's come up here. Psalm 119 105. Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.

Absolutely. That's a perfect anchor. Psalm 119 105. The word is that lamp that shows you where to step. And I love that you're being real about it. When we flip the order and we let AI or anything else get in front, we're basically walking in the dark. So now we've got our truth bomb. The myth is that we can lean on tools first and God second. The truth is the word lights the path, and AI can just help you see a little clearer once you've got that light on. Alright, let's keep rolling. Let's dive into the myth versus truth, and then we'll get into some real do-it-now action steps to flip that around.

Well, I think AI is what if you've got a a dimmer switch or a high beam in the car, AI helps you intensify it by making the research easier. It doesn't give you the revelation but helps you ask questions and search further for the answer of maybe where, for example, a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path from Lord. Where did that come from? Where did it come from? The Hebrew word or the key word is O-R. Light serves both as literal source of visibility and as a metaphor for divine wisdom and guidance, illuminating one's moral and spiritual path. That is where it originally came from. The term light in Hebrew culture extends beyond mere physical illumination, it represents wisdom, understanding, and divine insight.

Amen. Exactly. And that's a beautiful way to put it. AI might be like that high beam that helps you see a little further down, but it's not the actual light itself. The word is the source. AI just helps you maybe understand it a bit more easily once you've got that foundation. So let's name that myth clearly. The myth is that AI can replace your direct time in the word. The truth, AI is just a tool to help illuminate what God already said. And it all comes back to your identity. You are someone who walks by God's light first, and everything else just helps you walk a little steadier. Now let's activate this. Let's do a simple, practical step you can do in 60 seconds. Next time you reach for an app or an AI tool, just pause and read one verse out of your Bible first. That's it. One verse before one AI search. Let that be your drill for today. And then we hit the hot C questions.

Get a verse into you every single day rather than an app. When you're going to scroll Instagram or TikTok or YouTube, and I am critical of this when you're going to check how many views and likes and comments you've got, why don't you check how many highlights, how many pages are missing from your Bible, how bad and ripped up it is.
