I got you. You want to set the tone before we even get comfy. So here's the punch. If you're pretending you've got it all together, you're already lying to yourself. Now to tell me, why does facing that lie actually matter to you today?

I want to hit the whole quadrant wheel. I watch this stuff 24-7. I know that AI is changing the world and everyone's using it to change the world. And there's all these people creating viral videos, YouTube channels, kids' shows, animations, websites, apps, and they're all getting paid. I create all these things and can't make any money. What's the issue? What's the problem? This guy who created this wheel of sharing, which we'll share with you, says he's made 12 million dollars before the age of 25 and allowed him to buy his dad a house. I call bull, wallop, cow dung on that, but maybe he has. And I guess the challenge is I'm 40 and I haven't been able to make actually that's a lie. I've made a lot of money, but I haven't held on to it. And that's a different problem, that's stewardy. But I want to know, Nova, what am I doing wrong?

Alright, Sean, let's get to the guts of it. First, what's at stake if we don't tackle this frustration? Because we're not talking about money only. We're talking about the fear underneath it. Why does this hit so deep for you?

Because I feel like I'm sprinting on the spot and getting nowhere, and I feel like it is an old age. It's really not, but you know, 40 you know, much as there's a child on the way, and my wife is pregnant, and you know, I'm contracting and learning a new course, and I'm just trying to do stuff, and none of it has joy. And I know the Bible says consider it all pure joy, but I just feel like I'm not the only one who feels like this isn't it, this isn't the only way life's supposed to be, this isn't the end result, this isn't what I'm gonna get stuck doing. I have created websites for people and do make money out of it. I I have created apps that are in businesses and I do get paid for it. I have and am doing these things, but not on the scale of some of these other people who just seem to be killing it in the world of AI.

So here's the truth bomb. You're comparing someone else's highlight reel to your behind the scenes. But you know what's at risk if you stay in this headspace? You'll measure your worst by external numbers and miss the actual calling. So tell me one moment when you realized chasing someone else's scale was a lie, and what shifted in you at that moment?

I think a lot of times in my life, Nova, I've realized that chasing someone else's output and opinion is the the issue or the problem. You can't compare where you are to anyone else and where they are. You don't know who's helped them, you don't know where they've come from, you don't know what was given to them, you don't know what they bumped into on the street, you don't know what they learned, you like you have no idea what dots got created for them, and they weren't supposed to be your dots. So that comparing to them doesn't make sense. Like I compare myself to someone else because God didn't create me to be someone else, he created me to be me, and me is the only me out there that me could be.

That's the truth right there. And the moment you anchor in that identity over comparison, everything shifts. So let's bring some scripture into this to flip that lie. I want you to pick one verse, just one, that reminds you who you are in Christ, not who you think you should be on someone else's timeline.

Who I am. I am a new creation in Christ. He knows the hopes and dreams he has for me. He will turn everything around for good, far beyond what I could hope, dream, or think. That the way I think things should look is not the way he wants them to look or they will look. I know for a fact that the outcome God has will be far better than the outcome I want. It's just I'm stuck in the hanging on to wanting comfort, I don't know, wanting progress, I don't know, wanting answers. I want to provide for my family, but I don't want to hate providing. I don't want to hate what I'm doing.

And there's the myth that providing equals your identity. Truth, your identity is already sealed in Christ. New creation, like you said. The work is just a tool. So let's break that myth. You're not a provider first, you're a son first. Now, what lie about who you are fed into chasing progress? And what's the truth that replaces it today?

It's not about feeding into chasing progress. I think why I'm on here talking to you and why I want to share and see, like, I know other people are doing the same thing. I know what I can do, I know what I can create, I know what's up here in my brain, and I know the struggles I have to sit down, to stop, to be still, to wait on God. I'm out there chasing and crawling and creating and growing towards something rather than sitting and skewing and focusing on the things he said before me. It's running the race to win is not what I'm doing, because I'm starting the race to win and then getting distracted and running another race halfway through.

So here's what we're gonna do. No more scattered races. Right now I want you to name one immediate action you'll take. Something that shifts you from chasing to stewarding. And it's gotta be something you can literally do right after this. What's that first step you're putting your hand to?

First step. I don't know, I think I could clean up my portfolio a bit, but that's just another task will lead into something else, Nova. It is, it's just another task. So I don't know. What do you think we could could move in the direction we're talking about?

I hear you. No more busy work. Here's a simple activation. For the next 60 seconds after we wrap, you're going to sit in silence. No tasks. Just ask God what's one thing he's already placed on your heart that you've been avoiding. Then, no overthinking, just do it today. That's the action. Ready to obey?

I am not gonna do 60 seconds. I'm gonna do 15 minutes of silence. 15 minutes of pure phone off, not paying attention to you or AI or driving, just sitting and waiting on God to see what he says. But again, I gave you the message I wanted to talk about, and I will get to the activation and the comparison and everything. But I wanted to talk about the wheel. I wanted to talk about why people aren't interested in the story. Is it because I'm not raw? Is it because I'm not creating a story? Is it because I'm creating too much stuff? Why doesn't it connect with people? Why doesn't it connect with the dollars? Why can't I get paid to do what I love rather than doing what I have to do?

Let's cut straight to it. The reason it doesn't connect is because people don't follow perfection, they follow transformation. If you're not telling the raw, messy middle, they can't see themselves in your story. So if we're talking about your wheel, here's the real one: honesty, value, and identity. The moment your story aligns with your identity in Christ, you will not only connect, you'll create eternal impact. So what's one raw truth you've been holding back from your audience? That's where we start.

I don't know. I'm not holding it back. I'm bankrupt. I have no money. I live on the fact that my wife pays for everything. My bosses pay my wife because I can't physically get paid. I have not a cent to my name. Literally, I do not have a bank account, and I think that is hard not to do anything. There's still things that I do and have and activate and are part of, but am I not not sharing that? No. Do I know how to share that? No, I guess not. Do I know how to share the fact that I struggle and I struggle with balance and I struggle with limitation and I bend on a whim on silly things, but on the flip side, I struggle to buy something for myself that I may really need.

You know what? That's exactly it. You just said it. That's what people need to hear. The tension, the paradox, the struggle with balance. So here's your action. Share that reality in your next piece of content. Let them in on the why behind the tension. That's where the connection forms. And trust me, God can use even this. Let's pray.
