True Success pt. 2: Trust in the LORD with all your heart

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5 esv

We hear the word "love" a lot! In Christian settings we hear the word "love" a lot too! What about the word "trust"? How important is trust? I'd like for you to think about your closest relationships with people here on earth; they are probably the people you trust the most! Trust and love go hand in hand to build the strongest of relationships. One without the other and we are left with a shallow relationship that could break at any moment.

God wants us to love Him, but He also wants us to trust Him! 

In this episode, I will discuss:

• We must trust God's plan and will for our lives and for this world
• Putting our trust in people, flesh, and worldly ideas vs. putting it in God
• Trust brings peace. Something that many Americans are desperately searching for. If only they would seek for God, Who is ready to give them His "peace that passes all understanding"! Philippians 4:7
• People who want to be successful in this life must put their trust in the LORD! This is not an option! 
• How can we actually do this?

1. Prayer
2. The stirring of the Holy Spirit upon our hearts and minds
3. Read God's Word, listen to Him
4. Trust God as He opens and shuts doors in your life
5. Trust that He is good, He loves and cares about His children, and He is preparing a wonderful place for His people!

Put your trust in the Almighty King of kings and Lord of lords! Don't put it in yourself, or some other person, or some worldly idea or lie.
