Vulnerability is Cool
Welcome to Vulnerability is Cool. I’m Jenna Jarvis, and this is your space to get real, get raw, and maybe laugh a little along the way.
We’re all about peeling back the layers and celebrating the unfiltered truth of what it means to be human. I’m passionate about showing that we’re so much more similar than different and reminding you that you’re never alone in this journey. Join me for honest conversations with therapists, coaches, and everyday people as we dive into life’s ups, downs, and everything in between.
Let’s connect, share, and embrace our messy, beautiful humanity—because there’s magic in every story !
Vulnerability is Cool
2 Years Post Mormonism Update, Hot Takes, and Heretic Thoughts
Two years after leaving the church and one year of being open about it, I’m reflecting on what this journey has really been like. In this solo episode, I’m sharing how I’ve navigated unlearning old beliefs, discovering what spirituality means to me now, and replacing "light with light" in ways that feel deeply personal and authentic.
I’ll talk about how the movie Heretic brought back so many familiar feelings from my deconstruction, the practices that have helped me feel more connected to myself (think yoga, journaling, and meditation), and why showing up with confidence was the game-changer in conversations with my family.
This episode is about finding your truth, owning it without apology, and creating a life that reflects what matters to you.
Affirmations from this episode:
- I trust myself to create a life that reflects my truth.
- I replace fear with curiosity and control with trust.
- I am grateful for the light I carry forward.
- I am whole, complete, and connected to my higher self.
