$16.50 extra. Yeah. So ours, we we of course had to modify just a bit. So we used Vale Vanilla vodka and one and a half ounces. We did, it was supposed to be one ounce of Myers Dark Rum. I did an ounce and a half because I just did one of the little minis of Gibbs Hill Black Rum. Okay. Just because I didn't want to buy a full bottle of Myers, although we've needed that enough times that I probably should just buy a bottle of Myers dark rum. Three ounces of apple cider, and then it was one ounce of butterscotch syrup. And then mixed, shaken, and then poured over ice. And it tasted the first drink was a little plasticky taste.

It's not bad. But it's not what I was hoping. Yeah. The flavor combos are my favorite. I love a butterscotch. I love a butterscotch. Yeah. I mean, it does still taste a little. I mean, we added more butterscotch to it.

Chasing A Stronger Christmas Flavor

Oh, these were the first ones? Yeah, I don't know. So I usually start early November with a Hallmark Christmas movie. And as I'm watching it, I say the plot of like what's going to happen next, because they all have the same plot as I'm watching the movie. Yeah. And then I move on. And I only started watching it. I didn't watch the whole thing Christmas with the Cranks. That's a great list. It's one of my first ones. But we jumping ahead to we watch all three of the Santa Claus movies.

All three Santa Claus movies. So the Santa Claus is to me just a classic. So it's worth watching all three to me, just because the Santa Claus is one of the best, one of the best Christmas movies, in my opinion. It's a great story. I think maybe he is better in Christmas and the Cranks.

Christmas with the Cranks. But it might this has more appeal because it's a Disney movie, more appeal, family appeal. Where Christmas with the Cranks isn't necessarily a family, a full family appeal movie because, and I don't want to say it has adult themes, but it's more adult humor.

Sometimes we've again looked we sometimes we do talk about how we are going to discuss it.

So, and I I will just say that right off the bat. Okay. I thought these all and I've never sat down and watched them all back to back to back. Okay. I think they did a good job of making these back to back to back, even though they were made 12 years apart. Yeah, I have all the gears down here. 1994 was the first one. Then 2002 and 2006. Correct. Yeah. So 12 years is a pretty good span. All the kids grow up and and whatnot. So anyway, why don't you give us a little tidbit on episode or the episode one? The first Santa Claus. Okay. Yeah.

The first Santa Claus, I summed it up by saying a man accidentally kills Santa then inherits his job. Which raises several questions about morality, labor laws, and estate planning.

Yeah. Suspend it your belief and common sense while watching these. As with most Christmas movies. So what about episode two?

Santa Claus Part Two, right? Santa Claus Part. That's all it's called. Yeah. 2002. Right? So in this one, Santa must get a wife.

But it plays out like a 90s sitcom. Gotta get a wife. Blah blah lots of jokes about getting a wife. Maybe even 80s, late 80s.

And plus there's a huge plastic toy in this movie.

That uses melted crayons as moisturizer. Yeah. Yeah. And it's that's a good one. And it's half romantic comedy, half dystopian toy factory coup.

The Contract Gag And Escape Clause

Yeah. So what was interesting about this one is it introduced characters that would be more prominent in the third one. Like I don't know if they had plans to do a third one at when they did the second one, but they transitioned.

I love Martin Short, first of all. Yeah. This wasn't his best role. No. I know. It sucks because he overplayed it, but we'll talk about that in a second. So Martin Short, this movie, here's what this movie was Martin Short, Time Travel, and Canada.

That's three words, three phrases that sum up the whole movie. It's like a Mul Hawley display comes to life and demands a feature film. I'd agree with that. And these are all jokes for this movie. Okay. It's not my favorite. If Elsa were an acting coach, she would tell Martin Short to just tone it down a little.

So it used to be that, yeah, the third one was horrible. For those who are younger than Gen X, younger than 50 or 45, I would say. It used to be that you would have a good first movie, you might have a good second one, or it'd be only slightly worse, but you'd have two good ones. Beverly Hills Cop is the quintessential of this. By the third one, you're losing core actors, and they're just trying to make money. That's how you used to be in the 80s, and I'd say into the 90s, and it would suck. It would just be a horrible garbage movie that you just didn't waste your time on.

Now, Neil is in all three of them. That's Judge Reinhold. And he is love Neil. He is my favorite character, I think, in the movie series. I just really like his character.

Yeah, I think Judy's a really close too because I think she has she just is like this very sweet little kid. Uh-huh. And she talks about like her lines are great. Like, oh wow, this is amazing, Cocoa. Yeah. Well, it took me 1200 years to perfect the recipe. Right. Because they live so long. So I really liked her character.

Best Elf Debate: Bernard Vs Judy Vs Curtis

I did not like Curtis. Yeah. Yeah. I get that. I get that. I was just thinking, as I was thinking of Elves, I keep going to Prep and Landing. Yes. Because that's the best elf characters in any show. This is true, in my opinion. And I have watched those. There's I know you have now, right? Yes.

Because last year you mentioned them and I hadn't seen them. And yeah, I finally watched them.

I've never really liked him as an actor. But I like Bernard.

Least Favorites And Comic Misses

So in the third one, both Alan Arkin and Margaret play her parents and they come to the North Pole. He annoyed me.
