Gabrielle: Hello, hello. Today we're going to dive into masculine and feminine energy. [00:01:00] And is it possible to be a driven, dedicated boss babe who's tapped into her quote unquote masculine energy and still be a very sensual, attractive partner and have this beautiful polarity and sexuality in your relationship? So let's dive into this really juicy topic because there's so much to cover here.

Gabrielle: What we want to dive into first is what is masculine and feminine energy. And there is a lot of confusion around this because of the words that were chosen. So when we're talking about masculine energy, It has nothing to do with sexual orientation or, uh, what gender you are or what gender you prefer to be in relationships with.

Gabrielle: It has nothing to do with that. So there are no rules around if you are, uh, consider yourself a female, like in a female body that you need to be in your feminine or anything like that. There is no like should. I [00:02:00] think a better way to look at this and approach this is actually to completely shift away from the words masculine and feminine energy and instead use words yin and yang energy.

Gabrielle: So in this case, yin will be referencing what is known as the feminine, Which is all about receptivity, which is about receiving the openness, the nurturing, the creativity, the flow, the chaos. And then the masculine would be the yang energy, which is about the direction, the focus, the linear thinking, the energy to get things done, like the movement, but the container around the movement, right?

Gabrielle: The structure, the support, the stability. So when we use yin and yang instead of masculine and feminine, it feels so much more approachable to then say that each of these energies lie within us. So as a female, for example, speaking about myself, I have both yin and yang energy inside of me. And it is critical for me to tap [00:03:00] in and to use both of these energies.

Gabrielle: I was given both of these energies for a reason. It's not wrong of me to lean into one and then lean into the other. It's not that I need to be fully in my feminine because I am a woman. It's actually that I need to learn how to use The masculine and feminine, the yin and the yang energy within myself to create.

Gabrielle: And so I think that it gets very confusing in the spiritual world because sometimes it may seem like if you're a boss babe, if you're really dedicated to working on your business, if you want to build and create and grow this magical thing, then you're in your masculine and you're going to have a hard time finding a partner or you're just not going to have a lot of polarity in your relationship or you're going to be maybe disconnected or, whatever the kind of negative reality is.

Gabrielle: Rhetoric around that is, I think is so, so misplaced because the truth is to grow a very successful business to three extra income. Like I've done multiple times or to scale online businesses to [00:04:00] nearly the half a million mark in revenue annually, it requires. both yin and yang energy. It requires this masculine and feminine energy.

Gabrielle: And it does not mean that you are a masculine woman. If you are building a business, what it means is learning to balance and use both of these energies when needed. It's this self mastery of being able to toggle. On and off the energy when you need it. It's being able to step into these archetypal energies when you need them.

Gabrielle: So, for example, if you're sitting down and working on your business and your goal setting and planning, it's super important to create structure around this. And then if you want to have creative sessions that are very fluid and flowy and instantaneous, It's very important to be able to then tap into that yin energy or that openness that receiving and so you can see that by us naming these energies masculine and feminine it actually creates a lot of confusion and there is no negative connotation around [00:05:00] being a boss babe.

Gabrielle: It does not mean that you're not going to be able to find this beautiful partnership. I mean, Andres and I have amazing polarity in our relationship and has nothing to do with my devotion to my business because I feel very devoted to following my, what feels like my Dharma, like my life's work to creating what I'm creating and I step into that and I allow that energy to move through me and flow through me, but I also can step into other energies throughout the day and it feels really good to play with this, to allow myself to be very like goal focused or direction oriented on certain days in my business and then drop into this like softer, more receiving side.

Gabrielle: Maybe when I'm with Andres or maybe when I'm working on a different part of my, my creative process or, planning in the business. And so I think it's really, really important to talk about this because when we're talking about building a business from ease and magnetism, when we're [00:06:00] talking about falling away from the toxic masculine energy, which means the toxic yang energy of I always need to be doing something, my self worth is tied to my outcomes or my deliverables that I cannot rest.

Gabrielle: that my mind just keeps going, going, going. Like, I don't know how to turn off. I don't know how to, receive. being in that toxic area that leads to burnout was how I was raised to build a business. And so that is not. The only way to make a lot of money and have a lot of impact. And what I learned on my journey was there's another way.

Gabrielle: And so when I'm kind of over here talking about magnetism and flow and ease, it's because there is another way to approach business. It's fundamentally. So opposite of that toxic masculine, that push, that hustle, that burnout, that like hyper independence, like Beyonce vibes of like, I don't need a man. I don't need anyone to help me.

Gabrielle: I can do everything on my own. Like that is what for me and for a [00:07:00] lot of my students has led to chronic illness, chronic pain, like low libido, like so many other issues in the body and in the mind and in the emotions because It is a very contractive way, a very stressful way to build something. But instead, if we can learn to balance the yin and the yang energy, to find this harmony and the duality, to, to have this self mastery of being able to call upon these different ways of being when we need them, that is when the magic happens.

Gabrielle: Like that is when I've been able to three X my business in this place of magnetism and ease is when I understand that. this understood. I mean, masculine and feminine energy is just like the tip of the iceberg, right? There's so much more that you need to study, understand, and embody to get here. But this is a critical piece.

Gabrielle: This is a really critical piece is that it requires both, but I can also really resonate with the idea of [00:08:00] being a bit scared. To fall back into that toxic masculine energy or the burnout, because if you're like me, then maybe you used to work in corporate America, or maybe you built a business out of that kind of old school mentality of like the hustle and the grind, and you did burnout and you know how much that It sucked.

Gabrielle: And so you don't want to go anywhere near that, like not even with a 10 foot pole. So you might be like, so repelled by this idea of inviting any masculine energy, any of the gang energy back into your business and back into the way that you function because you felt how bad it felt to build a business and to work in that other way.

Gabrielle: But I'm here to share with you that it doesn't have to be like that and that there is another way. to build business and have monumental, spectacular success. And you don't have to fall back into that toxic, unhealthy, masculine, that you can invite this really beautiful, divine Yang energy, this [00:09:00] masculine energy into yourself, into your business, into the way that you run your life, into the way you walk, talk, and breathe is, is inviting this in because it is a part of you.

Gabrielle: just because you're of a female doesn't mean that you don't have this energy and you do and they're it's critical it's so so critical because we can have all the inspiration we can have all the magnetism we can have all of these beautiful uh yin feminine sides to us but if we don't take action then it's all for not like one cannot exist without the other.

Gabrielle: And so if you are here, which I know you are, to grow something beautiful, because there's something that wants to be birthed through you, right? The business, a project, a creation in some capacity wants to be birthed through you. You're going to need to learn how to do it. Both of these things to be able to operate in this harmonious state.

Gabrielle: So that way you are not hitting burnout. You're not having the chronic pain. You are not having the low libido. You're not [00:10:00] feeling that like, I can't relax. I just feel tense or that like controlling grippy energy. or maybe you're like really struggling to find a partner and to have that like zingy, sexy polarity, with your partner.

Gabrielle: And when you learn. How to truly be the decision maker in which energies that you step into and you learn the power of cultivating both and you learn how to be magnetic, but magnetic in a way where you still take inspired action. You're weaving in these energies. That is when you're just going to blast off like a rocket ship.

Gabrielle: This is when you're going to quantum leap. It is absolutely amazing what you are capable of and what is within you and wants to come out. Right? Like there's something inside of you that is like dying to come out and be birthed. It wants to be spoken about. It wants to be created. And when you put some structure around the chaos, you're actually able to go deeper and into the chaos.

Gabrielle: You're able to go deeper into the [00:11:00] creativity, into the inspired, downloads and the, just the flow state. So it sounds very counterintuitive, but the more structure, the more yang energy that you put around yourself, the more into the depths of the yin energy, you'll be able to flow. So we live in a world of duality.

Gabrielle: We need both. And I think it's very important to clarify that it has nothing to do with gender or sexual orientation.
