Time and Chance

HopeUC Secunderabad

Have you ever wondered why some talented people never reach their full potential while others with seemingly ordinary abilities achieve extraordinary success? The answer lies in a profound biblical truth from Ecclesiastes: "The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong... but time and chance happen to them all."

This message unpacks how divine timing intersects with human preparation, revealing that success isn't just about having talent—it's about being ready when opportunity knocks. Through the story of David's seemingly insignificant sling becoming the tool that defeated Goliath, we discover that God doesn't necessarily need our "awesome skills" to accomplish great things—He simply needs us to be faithful with what's already in our hands.

Many of us are praying for platforms and opportunities while neglecting to develop excellence in our current responsibilities. Yet the secret Scripture reveals is startling in its simplicity: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." Your attitude toward your present work directly influences your future platform. When you demonstrate reliability, diligence, and excellence in small matters, you position yourself for greater responsibility.

The promise remains that everyone will receive their divine opportunity—time and chance happen to all. The critical question isn't whether your opportunity will come, but whether you'll be ready when it does. Champions are made when nobody is watching, through consistent practice and commitment to excellence in the everyday mundane tasks.

What's in your hands today? Whatever skills, talents, or responsibilities God has entrusted to you right now—however small or insignificant they may seem—do them with excellence. Your breakthrough isn't about having extraordinary talent; it's about being ready when your moment comes.

Speaker 1:

my sermon for today is titled time and chance. How many of you will believe in luck? Believe in luck? Anyone believes in luck? No one, okay, good.

Speaker 1:

So my scripture portion for today is from Ecclesiastes, chapter 9 and verse 11. I like to have the verse 11 first, before we do the 10th. All right, let's read this. This particular verse has blessed my life so much that it keeps still blessing me. That's the reason, like I chose today to share this with you. It's a very practical application of the word of God. So let's read this. It says I have seen something else under the sun. This is Solomon.

Speaker 1:

King Solomon, the wisest man ever lived on the earth, is writing this. So pay attention. It says the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong. Nor does food come to the wise, or wealth to the brilliant, or favor to the knowledge, but time and chance happens to them all. The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong. Let's meditate on this verse for a few minutes. Can we go to the next slide? Let's meditate on this verse for a few minutes. Okay, let's. Can we go to the next slide? Right? So it says the race is not to the swift, nor battle to the strong, nor food to the wise, nor wealth to the brilliant, nor favor to the knowledge, but time and chance happens to them all. So let's say you're the best runner in the entire city of Hyderabad. You're the best runner. Nobody's as fast as you, nobody's as swift as you. You know the word swift is used to define the speed of the horse. Like you say, the horse is swift. So he's saying the race is not to the swift, battle is not to the strong. Let's say you're the fastest person in Hyderabad. Nobody can run as fast as you. You are the best that ever existed in Hyderabad.

Speaker 1:

What do you need? What do you need to go to the next level? You are the best at your skill. You are the best at your talent. You are running like nobody else. Let's think with me now. Okay, let's think, think, meditate this. What do you need? You're the fastest guy in the entire city. What do you need? You are the strongest guy. You're the strongest guy in the entire country, or let's say, in the entire state of Telangana. What do you need to prove your strength? What do you need to prove that you are the fastest guy in the city? What do you need? Sorry, you need a competition, right, to prove that you're strong. What do you need? You need a battle. Without battle, it's pointless. It's useless being strong Without a platform or without a race. It's pointless being the fastest guy, right?

Speaker 1:

Let's say you're wise. How do I know you're wise? How do people know that you're wise? What do you need to show yourself as wise? What do you need?

Speaker 1:

You need a problem to solve. When you need a problem to solve. When you solve a problem, you're considered wise. Let's say you're the wisest person in this congregation. How will we know that you are the wisest one without a problem to solve? If you're able to solve a problem, then you're considered wise and it says brilliant. How do we know you're able to solve a problem? Then you're considered wise and it says brilliant. How do we know you're brilliant Unless there's a test or an exam or a platform to showcase your skills, to showcase your talent? It's pointless being brilliant and it says the same knowledge as well. How do we know you're knowledgeable? How do anybody knows you're knowledgeable, right?

Speaker 1:

So the race is not to the swift, nor battle to the strong, nor food to the wise, nor wealth to the brilliant or favor to the knowledge.

Speaker 1:

Without a platform, you being fastest is pointless, right? So without a battle, your strength is useless, it's futile. You cannot do anything. So what? In the end? The verse says time and chance happens to them all. So even if you're the fastest guy without the time and chance that God them all. So even if you're the fastest guy without the time and chance that God says happens to everyone, the Bible says time and chance happens to them all. Remember, all of us will get the time and chance. All of us will get the opportunity. The question is are you ready for your opportunity? If there is no race, let. If there is no race, let's say there is no race, what would you do? You're not waking up at 4 in the morning and practicing for the race, right? Let's say there's no battle. Let's say our military says, hey, there's no war, there's no battle, so we won't practice, we're not going to go and like, train ourselves to become the best soldiers or to become the air fighters you know, to ride jets and all that, right? So regardless of what your talent is, regardless of what your skill is, unless and until an opportunity is given or a platform is created, your skill and your talent is useless. So that's why King Solomon says that time and chance happens to them all.

Speaker 1:

I read this same thing in Telugu. They couldn't translate it. The closest they could translate was the word they used was adrishtam Adrishavasamukha. You know I'm not that good at Telugu, but the word that they used was adrishtam. It's like almost luck.

Speaker 1:

The world believes luck, believes in luck. You go outside. People all over the place are like yeah, luck, luck, luck. Well, bible is defining luck in a different way. The Bible says time and chance happens to all. Opportunity will be given to everyone, no question about it. But the question, the challenge today, is are you gonna be ready when time and chance happens, when the platform is laid, are you going to be ready for it?

Speaker 1:

I missed a great opportunity one time only because I was not ready. I had the opportunity, I had the time and chance, I had the platform. I was not ready. Some great billionaire from the US came and said Noel, if you want to do any type of business, now is the time. Give me the proposal, we'll invest. I was clueless at that time. This was like 12-13 years ago. I was clueless at that time. This was like 12, 13 years ago I was clueless and that evening I found out that I lost a 10 crore deal just because I was not ready. The opportunity is there. I'm not ready, all right. So, despite having talents, we still need a platform. We still need an opportunity.

Speaker 1:

So the Bible is saying King Solomon is saying you will get a chance, your time will come. Lot of people ask when will my time come? Well, are you ready for your time? If it comes today, if God gives you a platform today, are you ready to take it or are you going to miss it? God promises to give time and chance. Time and chance let's say opportunity. God gives an opportunity. He promises to give an opportunity to take you to the next level In life. You should be constantly growing. You should be constantly growing. That's how God created us. That's how God created us. That's how God designed humans. Most of the time, since we do not see an opportunity, we tend not to practice or use our skills Just because we feel that there will not be any opportunity. We do not do the things that we are supposed to do, things that we are supposed to practice on hone our skills, which we do not do.

Speaker 1:

I want to take an example of King David. Okay, let me tell you this. King David was tending his father's sheep, right? You all know the story, right? He was tending his father's sheep and we hear from the Bible, we know from the Bible, that he was not taking the job lightly. He was very serious about it, to the point a lion comes. He's like hey, you're not taking the sheep. I'm sure if he goes to his father and says, hey, dad, the lion took my sheep. Today, one of your sheep is gone. You know what a father will say I'm glad you're safe, I don't care about the sheep, I'm glad that you're my son and you're back home.

Speaker 1:

David faced the bear and the wolves, and the wolves and the dogs in the wilderness. What did he do? He drove away lions. He drove away bears, he drove away wolves. He kept his father's sheep, fully committed, fully committed to the point. He wanted to risk his life. He killed a lion, right?

Speaker 1:

So the thing that I want to highlight in David's life is that when David faced Goliath, what did he use to kill Goliath? A sling. A sling that the whole army of Israel or the army of Philistines considered insignificant. You know, during a war time, if you say I can do a sling, they will say get out, that's such an insignificant skill. You need to know how to run a sword. You need to know how to run a sword. You need to. You need to know how to like battle like you should train for an army to kill a giant. It's not an easy thing. You should be trained like a warrior and all that. But you know what David was training on. He was training on his sling. When the lion comes, when the wolf comes, when the bear comes, he's not going and hiding, he's fighting, he's using his skill.

Speaker 1:

How many of you have watched House of David? It's a show on Prime. They put it in a great way like they showcase how David was practicing his skills. Like they put some bottles. He'll go and show his brothers look at my skill. He'll put some bottles and he'll shoot the bottles with the sling.

Speaker 1:

The world thought that such an insignificant skill. All you have to do is go into the wilderness, sit under a tree and take care of the sheep. You're insignificant, your skill is insignificant, but you know that same skill got the giant down. So whatever your skill is today, whatever your talent is today, maybe to the world it is insignificant, but for God that's enough. It is enough, whatever insignificant talent you have, whatever insignificant skill you feel you have I'm sorry to use the word insignificant, but that's what the world says right, it could be insignificant in the sight of the world, but not inside of God, because he can use such a small thing and elevate you to the next level, which will surprise the entire world.

Speaker 1:

So, whatever you're dealing with today, if, whatever you, whatever you're looking for a growth or a promotion or you're looking to go to your next level, my question and my challenge is what are you doing with the current level that you are in? What are you doing with your current talents that God has placed in your hands, your skills? You know, I see us Indians our attitudes towards our work is very sloppy. It's very sloppy. I've traveled around the world so I know we, as Indians, are a little sloppy towards our work. We don't show up on time, we don't come to the meetings, we don't do this nothing. Hey, how can God use you if, in the present current state, current job you're in, you're not doing it right? Your attitude towards your job is very important. That's what David did right. His attitude towards his job was not one sheep will be lost today, not under my watch. That was David's attitude and God said I don't need you to be a skillful warrior with a sword. I can use that sling. That's enough. Whatever your little skill is, that's enough. As long as you are committed to it, okay. But who would have thought that that little, insignificant thing god will use to kill the giant? What's in your hands today? My question is what is in your hands today? Every time I wanted a promotion, every time I wanted a promotion, every time I wanted a raise. Every time I wanted to go to my next level. When I prayed, god simply said what's in your hands? What's in your hands? And my answer was always in my hands. It's. Your next level is already in your hands. Your promotion is already in your hands. All you have to do is realize it. See what gift you have, what talent you have. Most of the time you know you might.

Speaker 1:

Let me talk about Donald Trump, because everybody knows Donald Trump Right, the president of the US. He sold soda bottles in his younger days. What did he say? Sell soda bottles. The used soda bottles like Pepsi or Coke Cans. He collected them all and he used to sell them as a business. Today, he'll sell palaces and all that. He's on a different level. But where did he start His first business? Where did he start His first business? Where did it start? He started as selling soda bottles. He saw like, oh, this can make me money, I'm going to do that. He today is one of the top real estate guys in the entire world. Okay, I'm focusing, I'm trying to focus on our work, attitude, work ethic. That's what I'm trying to focus on.

Speaker 1:

Okay, let me tell you a little story of mine. You know, my first job was probably when I was in ninth standard. Okay, I was in ninth class. Summer holidays and all the people in my colony and the place that I used to live are getting getting ready and going at four o'clock in the evening. I'm like where you guys going you're going to the exhibition to work said, okay, I can I join? They were giving 30 rupees from 4 to 11. If you work from 4 to 11, they were paying 30 rupees. And I went.

Speaker 1:

My dad did not say, no, it's not that we were poor, we were doing good. And I told my dad, I want to go into the exhibition and work from from 4 to 11 and they pay me 30 rupees, okay. And my dad said, go. My mom's like no, no, you cannot go. How can you go and work in an exit? You know what my job was? I was. I was putting bullets in guns for kids to come and shoot the balloons like they're all balloons in the back. I was, that was my job. From 6 to 11. 4. We have to show up from 6 to 11 just filling up and give it filling up and give it Filling up and give it. My dad did not say no. In my 10th vacation I sold water filters. My dad didn't say no, he said good, go, go do it. So those type of work ethics and the work attitudes that I inculcated in my life, where are my stepping stones to success? So today, my question is what is in your hands?

Speaker 1:

You know how many of you know this story of the lady of Sarafath, the lady there are two women in the Bible that talks about. One was a wife of a prophet and the husband dies and the debtors are coming to take away her sons, to keep them as slaves right. So the prophet comes. Prophet comes and he says hey, make me a bread. She said I don't have anything. No, no, no, you have something, go look. When God wanted to give you something, give that lady something, he said look what you have. She said all I have is a little flower that we want to eat and die. He said that's enough. God said that's enough. The other story when the lady sorry that lady wanted to save her children the boys, two boys, god said. The prophet said what do you have? I don't have anything. No, no, no, go look, you might have something. All I have is a little oil, that's enough. What do you have today? That's enough.

Speaker 1:

You don't need a super skill, you don't need to be a super human to get to a certain level, because when God creates opportunity, when God lays the platform, when God gives you time and chance, he does not need all that big skills to build a rocket like Elon Musk. You know, all God will say is hey, what is in your hands? You might think it is insignificant, but it's not insignificant in God's sight. Time and chance will happen. That's why, when I talk to a lot of young people, they say, hey, my father didn't make money for me, my grandfather didn't have any properties for me. I am like this hey, you know what? Your father missed the opportunity. Your grandfather missed the opportunity. Your grandfather missed the opportunity. You don't miss the opportunity Because Bible promises time and chance happens to them all.

Speaker 1:

Can we go to the next slide, please? I wanted to put up this. Look at that, that sling Such an insignificant thing. This is what the Lord specializes in. Our God specializes in this. He does not need your awesome skills to kill a giant. All he needs is something that you have in your hand. All he needs is some skill, some talent that you have, that he has gifted, that he has given you have in your hand. All he needs is some skill, some talent that you have, that he has gifted, that he has given you, for you to use when nobody.

Speaker 1:

You know, they say champions are made when nobody is watching. Right, when nobody is watching. I know about Sachin Tendulkar a little bit. He'd wake up at like 3 and by the time by 4 he has to be in the ground when nobody is watching, when everybody else is sleeping. The difference between me and Sachin today is he's waking up at 3. I'm waking up at 8 o'clock or 7 o'clock. He's practicing his skills, right? Let's say, you put me in the match today. What will happen? I'm out in the first today. What will happen? I'm out in the first ball. Why there's no practice? I did not hone my skills Right.

Speaker 1:

Again, I'll tell you An opportunity too soon might not be a blessing. We'll ask God. God, you give them, you give them. You give them. Why aren't you giving me maybe you're not ready, maybe you're not ready, and a blessing too soon will not be a blessing something that comes into your hand too soon. That's why God waits. He'll wait for generations. You're not doing it. He'll wait for your son to do it, his son not doing it. He'll wait for his son to do it. His son not doing it. He'll wait for his son to do it. It's in your hands. What is in your hands today that God can use? Something insignificant that you feel?

Speaker 1:

Let's talk about Moses. God called Moses and said hey, I want you to go to the Pharaoh free. My people bring them back. Moses said like me, you're talking to me, I've just fled, I don't have anything, I can't even speak. What should I do? God said what's in your hands? A staff, that's enough. That's the specialty of our God. He said that staff is enough for me. All Moses had to do to part the Red Sea was lift the staff up. That's all he did. God said that is enough. That's enough for me.

Speaker 1:

Back in 2000, 2010, I got a chance to work with an organization and a school for no money, like zero salary. The school was dying, the organization was dying, everybody in the organization is leaving because there's no money. And I stepped in. I said, lord, there's no money, nothing, but it's your work. I'm going to do it. Let me do it. I'm doing it, full, committed, praying every day. Lord, one day, please bless me. I'm going to do this work today. I'm going to do it.

Speaker 1:

A time passed with zero money. I'm just working, working, working. And suddenly someday, one guy calls me from the States and says hey, I need a certain budgeting and certain paperwork to start an orphanage and a school in India. Can you tell me how much it costs or what is the paperwork required? I said, okay, I will email you. I emailed him in five minutes. In five minutes, I pulled it up. I pulled up the folder. I sent it to him.

Speaker 1:

He called me back and said how did you do it? I thought you'll take 10 days to do the research, to do everything and put everything together and put a project together and send it to me in 10 days. I thought you'll send it to me in 10 days, but it came in five minutes. Why and how did you do it in five minutes? I said this is what I do every day. It wasn't a big problem for me. So what did what happened?

Speaker 1:

God created a platform for me and they said listen, we were trying to work with somebody in India and we're looking for people and we know who to work with. Now you are our guy and you know what they said. They said choose your salary, choose how much you want. They didn't say we'll pay you this or we'll pay you that amount. They said you choose how much you want. You choose what you're worth. So I've experienced this time and again in my life Whatever you have in your hands, do it with all your mind.

Speaker 1:

Can we put up verse 10 please? This is verse 10. Before the verse 11, this is verse 10. It says whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your mind. For in the realm of the dead, where you're going, there is neither working nor planning, nor knowledge nor wisdom.

Speaker 1:

So if you look at the book Ecclesiastes. Most of it, most of the book, revolves around work, revolves around work. It says a man will find fulfillment in his work. You know, if you were looking for fulfillment, you'll look. You'll find fulfillment only in your work. That's what the Bible says.

Speaker 1:

So the Ecclesiastes 8, 9, 10, 11 is talking about work, investments, money, which all of us want, which all of us need. And, as children of God, we are the ones that should be on top because we have all these basic financial principles in the word of God. We are the ones that should be on top because we have all this basic financial principles in the word of God. It says whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. And then the verse follows, for the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong. You know the verse is following. So the idea is today. Know the verse is following. So the idea is today. The challenge today is whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. That is the secret. That's where everything lies. You might think it's insignificant. I'll tell you something.

Speaker 1:

This same message I've preached to two people. I've preached to three people. I've preached to three people my congregation I'm talking about. Okay, when I preached, there were two people I preached. There were three people. I've preached. I've preached in Young Adults the same message. I've preached to one guy the same message. Not that I don't have other messages I do, but I preached this to one guy, two guys, three guys. People called me. I went like very far, drove a long distance to preach and there were only few people and I said, lord, even if there is one guy, I'll do the same job. So don't worry, I'm going to do the same job.

Speaker 1:

Hey, what happened today? Our pastors are not here. They wanted some preacher. They wanted somebody to replace. Who did they find? The opportunity was given. The opportunity was laid. Today the platform is laid for me to preach. Right. Why was the platform given to me? Because I'm taking this word of God and wherever I'm getting the chance, I'm preaching. I'm doing. It's not my first time. I'm really not nervous. My wife is nervous for me because I'm standing here. I'm not nervous. This is not new to me by far. This is my largest crowd. Maybe tomorrow I'll be preaching in the crowd where the thousands of them are sitting, but this is my practice ground those one guy I preached to those two guys I preached to was my practice sessions. Today God gave me a bigger platform Right when I went, when the opportunity for me to come to speak to few young people I had to spend my money, go a long distance, only few people and people told me, my brothers, why are you going that far?

Speaker 1:

Don't go. I said no. God gave me an opportunity. I have to be there. I will be there. And today I'm a live example of how the Lord uses your own little skills that you have to create an opportunity, to create a platform. This is a live example. That's what happens to most guitarists, to most singers. I've known people very good with the guitar, very good, but not recognized. Very good. He would go and practice for four, five hours continuously. I'm go and practice for 4-5 hours Continuously. I am like, oh, stop it, man. One day God gave him a chance and you know what he did. He was playing. And today he makes money out of playing guitar and you know what he calls His work play. He says when work is play, when work is play, he's not working, he's playing.

Speaker 1:

Most preachers, most people, you ask them like, oh, you're going on the stage to work. I love it. You might start at some point. You might start somewhere, but what God does is He'll make you stumble. You'll stumble into your destiny. The only way you'll stumble into your destiny is if you're doing what you're supposed to do right here, right now, what you have in your hands. How are you working? What is your, what's your work ethic? How do you look at your work? Do you look at it like ah, to just another day, man. Or you're going like, yes, god gave me this, I'm going to do it. If your manager, or at your workplace, if somebody has to pick somebody, why are they picking somebody else? Why aren't they picking you? You know, people are always watching. I know this secret People are always watching.

Speaker 1:

One time a team from the US came and they were like I was in charge of hospitality kind of thing, like taking care of everything for them, okay. So I woke up in the morning. I went on the terrace on the guest house. They were lay and filling up water in the tanks because the power was going to go out in the next two hours. So I went that that guy the leader of the team came up and said oh, so you're up at five and working like no, I don't do this every day, I'm just doing it today because you guys are here. No, no, that speaks a lot. And after a weekend of taking care of the team, I came to Hyderabad because they were in a certain village. I had some work. I came to Hyderabad, I went back the next day.

Speaker 1:

Everybody is saying hey, man, you are not here. Things are falling apart. Everything seems to be falling apart. Nothing is happening on time. The breakfast is not happening on time. We are not here. Things are falling apart. Everything seems to be falling apart. Nothing is happening on time. The breakfast is not happening on time. We are not leaving on time. Nothing is happening on time. And they said we know now, if you're not there, what the difference is. That's how we should be there in your workplace. They should know hey, today somebody did not show up. So there is problems. There is not excellence.

Speaker 1:

So God is asking us today, challenging us today, to make sure that you do whatever your hand finds to do. Do it with all your might. Do it like David. Identify your gift. What is your gift? Identify it. It could be very small. I gave you a little tips. Your gift could be something that you do very easily, extremely easy for you. It might be hard for the next 10 guys, but you're doing something very easy. It happens very easily. That could be your gift. Identify your gift, practice your gift, even when nobody is watching, even when nobody is watching. Identify your gift, practice it.

Speaker 1:

One day, a platform will be made, time and chance will happen. Time and chance happens to them all, to everyone. That's why the verse says just because you are swift, your talent is not enough, your gift is not enough. God says I have to create the opportunity, and I create opportunities for everyone, regardless of whether you believe in the Lord or you don't believe in the Lord. Time and chance happens to every man.

Speaker 1:

And I would ask my dad growing up why are they more successful? They don't know the Lord. We know the Lord, we know the lord. Our god is great and I feel we are not at a level where we are supposed to be. The answer god gave me the answer. God said look, those people are working really hard. They are doing something that you will never think of doing. They are doing something that you will never think of doing. They are at a place of different. They are at a different work. They have a different work ethic, the attitude towards work.

Speaker 1:

If you go home and read the entire 9th and 10th chapter, you'll find amazing things when to invest, how to invest, what to find, where to find Lot of wisdom in Ecclesiastes. I'm speaking from a businessman standpoint, you know, but I feel because there I see a lot of young people pursuing careers, you know, finding jobs, trying to build their lives Right. So God asked me to do this particular message, because we are all in the verge of going to the next level. And to go to the next level, the only secret is, the only formula, the only principle is whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, because if you don't do it with all your might, you lose the opportunity. The opportunity might come. The opportunity might come. Maybe you're not ready for it. Whatever you're thinking, you're imagining of, whatever God is showing you some glimpses and pictures of your future, if that opportunity is given to you right now, I don't think you'll. I'm not sure. I don't know if you're ready for it or no, but my challenge today is that, if you're ready for it or no, but my challenge today is that let's get ready for it. You don't know when the opportunity will come. You don't know when the Lord will lay the platform, but 100% guarantees he will give you an opportunity.

Speaker 1:

Embrace the work opportunity you have today. It may be the stepping stone you need on the way to your success. Embrace the work opportunity you have today. Your work opportunity today. What are you working on? What do you work at? How are you working at it? What's your perspective? What's your outlook on your work? That causes you to go to the next level?

Speaker 1:

Your attitude toward your works will determine your next opportunity. Your attitude toward your current work will determine your next opportunity. If you're looking for an opportunity, find what you have in your hands right now your job, your business or anything I would say you know. Coming on time to church speaks a lot about your attitude. I'm not judging anyone, I'm just challenging Right, come on time. That speaks a lot about your attitude. Maintain time that speaks a lot About your attitude. Maintain time. Outwork your co-workers. My goal all the time is to outwork people around me. If I have five people, six people, my challenge is I'll outwork you, even if it's a physical labor, manual labor. I go and dig holes with my boys. Your goal should be I'm outworking everybody around me. All right, michael Dell, the founder of Dell Computers, washed dishes at a Chinese restaurant. He washed dishes at a Chinese restaurant.

Speaker 1:

Your start might be somewhere, it doesn't matter when you end. Where you finish matters. That's why in the Bible it says your beginning days might be small, but your latter days should be big. Do not despise the beginnings, the small beginnings. Do not despise the beginnings, the small beginnings. Do not despise the small beginnings, because every big thing has a small beginning and we don't want the big thing. God says no, no, no, there's a small beginning. Do that? Do that? Perfectly. No, I want that stage. Well, go on that stage. You'll make a fool out of yourself If 10 crores is given to your hands right now. Do you have a plan for it? No, you will not know what to do Right. So be ready. Get ready for the opportunity. Wherever, whatever field you are in, the promise is. He will give an opportunity for you to go to the next level.

Speaker 1:

Today, one of the reasons I chose this sermon is because the platform was laid for me. The pastors are gone. They are on a retreat. They wanted somebody and they said can you do this sermon on a Sunday, and I mean instantly, my mind went to this work Time and chance happens to them all, even in my businesses. The same formula, same thing. I said, lord, one day you're going to give me this. So today I'm going to work.

Speaker 1:

I used to travel 80 kilometers one side so up and down is 160 kilometers to do the school, to take care of the school and all that that I used to do, and while going on the bike I'd say, lord, today I'm going, I will do my best. I'm not crying, I'll do my best. But one day you give me a car and diesel in it and I'll still go. I prayed that Prayer. So whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your mind. I don't know if my time's done or I still have some time, but one last thing I want to challenge is this that God is looking for a fruit.

Speaker 1:

God said in the first, when he spoke to the mankind. He said like hey, be fruitful, be fruitful. And for a long time lot of preachers have mistakenly preached this during weddings and lot of times that being fruitful means having more children or having children. Well, I am more fruitful because I have five kids. I don't think nobody can outnumber me today, but that's not what it means. It says be fruitful, be productive, produce something.

Speaker 1:

When you produce something, that that the product is not for you. Your gift is not for you. If I, if some, some great singer is coming to sing or somebody's playing, is it for them, it's for us to enjoy. When somebody's singing, it's not for this guy who's singing, it's for us. So, whatever your product is, it should be for somebody else, right? So think about that. I think I have seven minutes, I don't know. Yeah, so one last thing I want to end.

Speaker 1:

I say this everywhere, everywhere, every time I'm given a chance to preach, I bring this. We are praying all the time. God give me this, god give me that, god give me this. I'm also going to prayer. Lord, give me this, give me that All the time. One day the Lord changed my whole perspective, like. I'll give you an example. Let's say I want a table, I want a table. I'm like asking the Lord, give me a table. The Lord clearly one day said I don't make tables, don't ask me for tables. I make trees. Go cut the tree, get what you want. You want a table, make a table. You want a chair, make a chair. Whatever you want, do it. All this, everything is a product of our imagination, of product like our product. So one of the things I want to challenge is remember that your work ethic, the time and chance, and be fruitful.
