And I'm titling this sermon as Everyday Evangelist. Turn to your neighbor and just simply say that he's talking about you, not me. Yeah, just go ahead. Yeah, we are church, we are he's talking about you, it's not me. Turn to the other neighbor and say the same thing. He's talking about you, not me. Okay, how many, how many, not uh what is the voting? I'm sure you got at least two confirmations that God is talking about you, right? The sermon is talking about you. Okay, that is a good start. Evangelism is for everyone, every disciple, every believer has been called and has been given a mission to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth. We are not even covering our neighborhood, but we will talk about it later. But today we will know that the gospel is powerful, it is simple, and we will get to know how to approach. We know what is gospel. Okay, sometimes we complicate, we know what is gospel, we know that we need to share gospel. Today we will ask some questions and prepare some material so that when we go to our friends and when God gives us an opportunity, we have enough source and material for us to speak the words. Because sometimes we are like Moses. God, I stuttered a little bit. Uh right? Sometimes we uh, you know, we go away from the opportunity that God has opened because we were not prepared, or we do not have certain things that need to be there on what needs to be spoken. Amen. Okay, let's do uh Billy Graham once said uh the greatest evangelists in the world are not on platforms, but they are in family, they are in classrooms, they are in offices, office buildings, near apartments, uh where else? Schools? Who is in that place? Definitely pastors. Pastor should go to school, pastor even use school uniform, pastor should go, you know, office, nice office formals and uh quarrel with the security guard. No, I'm a pastor, I need to enter your office building. That's the like the immediate uh you know um uh thing that we go to that evangelism or sharing the gospel is pastor's responsibility, or anyone who is volunteering on our you know church volunteers teams. But each and every one of us, the one who has received Jesus as their personal Lord of Lord and Savior, the very first thing that we have as an assignment is to prepare ourselves, equip ourselves so that we can share whatever transformation that is happening, whatever we have received, whomever we have received, we need to equip ourselves and build ourselves and mature to a level where we can share whatever we are going through with other people. Amen. All right. The first thing that I want to share with you is that the gospel is simple, so let's not complicate it. What's that? Gospel is simple, so let's not complicate that. Yeah, sometimes uh it's a very simple thing, and we complicate it too much that uh even we forget what we wait. What did where did I start? Okay, right? And uh some of the marketing ads are so simple that it has the greatest reach because everyone understood. Can we be the marketing agents from directly from heaven, you know, where we keep the gospel simple, keep it authentic, and do not complicate it, don't add masala so that my story will, my gospel preaching will be greater than some other person. But let's keep it simple. Amen. Paul didn't preach philosophy or arguments, he simply said that he preached these four things. So if you want to form the gospel, the understanding of gospel into your into your hearts and into your minds, remember these four things. The first one is Jesus came, second one is Jesus died, the four, third one is Jesus rose, and the fourth is Jesus saves. As simple as that. If somebody asks you, oh, gospel, gospel, what is gospel? Uh you might start, well, it uh don't exactly know, but I'm guessing that it starts with go, so I'm supposed to go somewhere. But if somebody asked you, you can go with this straightforward, simple gospel and tell them that Jesus loved you, so he came for each and every one of us. We are sinners, so someone had to pay the price, so he died, and he couldn't be kept in the grave because he had the power over life and death, so he resurrected and he rose again from the dead. And now today that salvation, that saving grace is free for you and I. Would you like to accept Jesus or do you want to know a little bit more so that I can help you make a decision? How much time did that take? That's about one minute. Even if we stretch with stammering and two minutes, Max. Right? But today we will look at, we can add more uh strength to the words that we are speaking when we are sharing the gospel. Is that okay? So the gospel is not a debate. Come on, bro. I did PhD, let's sit and let's talk it over. Okay, what questions do you have? Uh you don't know what it's not about. Our foundation is love. Then how can we get into an argument? Because anyone who is ready for an argument is always in the defensive position. So why are we wasting time? Right? If our intention is to save another person, the very first thing that we can do is establish relationship. Yeah? First thing, even before you can say, Do you want to accept Jesus? The first thing that you can say when you're sitting in a cafe is, what coffee would you like to have? Oh, you like caramel, me too. Yeah, start off there. Why not? Yeah? Or some old Telgout, like, oh, Upukawa, Upa, ah, yeah, yeah, only start off, yeah, exactly. See, you are laughing means you are settling yourself and you are cooling down and you are ready to accept something new from an unknown person. Establish connection. That's where it starts off. Unless there is a connection, whatever you say, it goes off. But whereas it has to reach their hearts. Unless there is a heart-to-heart connection, we cannot expect results from whatever we are sharing.

L. Moody used to explain the gospel to children, and he said, if a child can understand it, an adult shouldn't complicate it. You don't have to complicate it. Such a simple, easy thing for us that we have been called to share this message that many people die, but only one person died for you and also rose again, and has keys for your life and resurrection. And he offers this at free because all the other religions in the world offers anything else unless we prove ourselves and do good works and all those things. But he says, just believe and receive. That's so simple. Forget about if whether they accept or not. You are satisfied. Oh, at least I communicated what I wanted to communicate. Amen. Gospel is simple. Okay? Now, let's do a quick 30-second gospel. Okay, I want to show you something. Okay, this is a 30-second gospel. That means if you are able to understand the crux of it, you are ready to go into the world and preach the gospel. But first, what would you like to order? Let's start from there, every conversation. Okay? All right. So God created you for relationship. Okay? Sin separated us. Jesus came, died, and rose again. And to restore us, if you trust him, you receive forgiveness and new life. Can I tell you a little more about it? 30 seconds. Done. Start off the conversation from there. And you never know how the response comes. If it's no, thank God. It's topped with coffee bill. But if they say, can you tell me a little more because I am struggling with forgiveness? Or I want something to be restored in my life. Can you just explain me what color of rose it is? Yeah, we have all kinds of people. Why did he have to die and roast? Let's go. Start off from there. Amen? A 30-second gospel under our sleeve in our back pocket or in the secret of our purse is always useful. The second thing, we undermine it, but our story is our superpower. If you are thinking and waiting for, if I have the gift of healing, if I have the gift of prophecy, then I will go into the ends of the world. God will say, wait. We need first things first. Right? Oftentimes we undervalue our story when in comparison with other men of God being used in such a mighty way. God, if you put me on the stage, then I will wave my hand and people. And you know what? People are interested in the stories of people that they are connected with. That they are connected with. And you know, one of the biggest platforms that was built upon this idea that people are more interested in other people's lives, we know that it is Facebook or any social media platform. People are interested in stories and what's happening in other people, other people's lives. If suddenly an uncle who is living next to you comes and shares his story, or that day you were not there, big accident happened, and one lorry in the air and one auto underneath, and like suddenly you are in the edge of the seat, right? Uncle, wow, you speak also, right? We are open. People definitely will be open if we share from our life. Revelation chapter 12, verse 11. It says, They overcame, it's talking about us. They overcame, they triumphed over him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, by the witnessing, the testimony that we carry, the story that we carry, the transformation story that we carry, we will win over the evil, and we will win people and souls for Jesus Christ. Amen. So here's a quick exercise: the three-part testimony template. Quick three questions that we can ask ourselves, and our testimony is ready. What are these? How was my life before Jesus? Pathetic. But we can add more words, more flesh to it, right? I was an addict, or I was uh short-tempered, or I was not able to forgive others. It can be a whole lot of things, and you can add your things, right? And the second question is how Jesus met me? What was that day like? Right? I still remember tears rolled down. I was shouting into the speaker, speaker was right in front of me, and I was thank God nobody heard me. I was speaking into the speaker as if I was speaking to God directly, right? And tears were rolling, and I recommitted my life. I still remember, you know, that moment. Can you share your Jesus meeting moment with them? That is powerful. And then the third question is what changed in my life? How did Jesus transform or is transforming our lives? Your testimony is ready. Just to four point the end. Or not the end, but hey, can I share a little more about Jesus? Or do you want to come to 13th night? We are doing amazing uh skits and programs and kids and teens and everyone are involved. It's a great thing. You know, do you want to come? It's like a concert night. You just come and enjoy an amazing time with all the people, carol singing, and cake and snacks and all that will be there. Do you want to come? Okay, that is much more bigger than the testimony. The invitation is uh much more bigger than the testimony, but you know what I'm saying. By this, your testimony is already ready. If you're not prepared with this, then we will share from today morning at nine o'clock. I woke up, and as I opened my eyes and I, you know, uh opened the curtain, and it's a wonderful breeze that was happening. And then on that day, I don't know what happened in the RTC bus that uncle uh uh conductor did not give me a chance. All the stuff simple three questions that we can answer, and you know, we don't put our friends to be boredom, right? Straight to the point. Okay? All right? If you know this person called Nick, can we put up a picture? He doesn't have limbs, and yet he shares and brings hope into people. Just by showing to them if God can use me without limbs, how much more can he? Such an impactful life. Such an impactful life. He doesn't go there and share about Jesus, he just shows, and it automatically fills hope into people. And then they come and say, Where do you get this hope from? Yes, meet my friend Jesus, also called as hope. Right? Are we showing that side of us where we can show to people and say that, you know, look at this part? I used to be like this, but now today, because of Jesus, I am like this. And automatically, people are interested. People listen to authenticity. Here's what Jesus did for me. Simple conversation starter. Amen. The third one is evangelism is a partnership with the Holy Spirit. Read the Bible and then you take off. Genesis chapter 3, verse 21. You know what it tells. But our foundation is about love. We want to save people, right? And we need the Holy Spirit God. The Holy Spirit God will come upon you, the anointing of the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and He will give you the power and confidence to share the share the gospel. You will be able to witness Acts chapter 1, verse 8. If we can go to that scripture, such an uh you know powerful, uh powerful scripture, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in our neighborhoods till Malakpit and to the Rajvigandi International Airport, also. Right? And to the ends of the office building, yeah, or to the ends of my school bench. Yeah, it's talking about us, so simple. But the first step is to receive the power from the Holy Spirit God, it's a partnership, it's a continuous conversation that we have every day morning. Holy Spirit God, show me whom to speak to, or show me whom not to speak to. And when once you reach that place, uh Holy Spirit God, teach me what words to speak. What are they going through? What is the correct question that I can ask so that you can open the door for me? It's a continuous conversation. You might you might have gone to that place and uh I'm not ready, I'm not ready for this. But you can ask, you can pray to the Holy Spirit God and say, Holy Spirit, that was so close. Can you give me boldness so that I will have courage to at least start a conversation? That's it's all about partnership, it's all about partnership. In fact, Jesus, while he was on the earth, Holy Spirit God was upon him and in him, and he knew what the father was saying to him, and he could boldly go ahead and do it by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. And we are called to do the same thing. You know, we can have, you know, uh understand when the Holy Spirit God, how many of you hear the Holy Spirit God? Simply nudging. Most of the times, don't do that. Uh most of the time, okay. But we can use him in other places as well. Right? Okay? Right? We can ask him. We can we can feel free to ask him, right? Don't get stuck that only hearing uh don't do that, don't do that. Please don't do that. Such a gentle God that we have. Amen. We we you know, very easy ways to understand that the Holy Spirit God is giving us signs to go ahead and talk. You know, someone can mention pain or you know, they are going through some stress or a difficult season. All that Holy Spirit God is asking us to do is just go and be there. Be there, console them, comfort them, empathize with them so that they will open up their heart, that they will begin to share. Then we will know how to respond to that. You know, they they can say that hey, I lost someone very recently. That's why you know I'm not able to be productive at office. And then you can I'm I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm so Sorry, I cannot imagine how difficult or how close you are with this person. But I had a similar incident two years ago. I also lost someone, and then you can begin sharing story. You can establish connection, heart-to-heart connection, so that they will be able to share more, so that they will be able to receive what we are offering. What we are offering. Someone asks about your faith or your peace. With so many things at your plate, how are you able to manage some of the questions? Right? You had so many, you had so many credit cards. What happened to all of them? Very simple statements that people make can be an open door for each and every one of us to share gospel. Amen. The fourth one, evangelism must be intentional. That means we need to prepare for it. We need to be available for God to use us. Every day morning, you know, one of the best things that Pastor Comfort started in this season is to pray for five people. Did we forget by day two? We might, it's okay. But you can say, Holy Spirit, God help me and remind me so that even while I am washing the utensils, I can pray. Right? Even while you know talking, talking to someone else, or even while I'm working, you know, I will I will write down as a to-do list. Or put a reminder. If you are that person, you can put a reminder that every day, morning, nine o'clock, or whenever you are at the best of your time, you can say and you can you can you can put a reminder and you can pray for them. Dedicate. It is an intentional, it is not something that, oh now I remember, so now I have to pray. Now you are in the middle. You are in the middle of something busy. Suddenly you get a reminder. Right? Intentional. Keep space for whatever God is calling you to. Amen. Charles Spurgeon said, every Christian is either a missionary or an imposter. Every Christian is a missionary. It's called to be a missionary or imitate someone who is a missionary, who is called. That means he is calling us everyone. Everyone, you know, who he is called to share, to share the gospel. One day someone went to uh order a coffee at Starbucks and um he he was a little depressed, and he uh the Starbucks um uh guy uh brought the coffee and he said, God loves you, man. And he started crying. Uh did I say something wrong? And then he went there, sat with this person one-on-one, and he just started asking, and he said that you know what? That one statement that God loves me changed me because I was planning to commit suicide this evening. Such a simple statement changed eternity for him. Probably there are some stories that we are not able to get to that point, and the Holy Spirit God is go sit with that person or just say hi to your friend. Maybe we are shying away from it, but can we commit to the Holy Spirit God and say that I will go where you want me to go? So let me ask you one question. If the Holy Spirit God says go, we okay. I got one go, but we are looking for a bigger go that the church has to move. Is it okay? Can we do that once again? If the Holy Spirit God asks us to go, we a little more loud, because 10 a.m., you are my favorite service, right? 10 a.m. guys did much better, though it was for fifth. Can you do it in three? Is it okay? Okay, last chance for 12. My favorite people to scream the loudest and respond to God the greatest. Okay, all right, let's do this. If Holy Spirit God asks us to go, we if the Holy Spirit God asks us to speak, we if the Holy Spirit God asks us to shut up, we yeah, he says that as well, yeah, in the middle of the argument, we don't, but but today we are committing to that, right? Whatever he says, it is for a purpose. We do not understand most of the time, and that's why we are called we are called dumb sheep. Yeah, that's for a reason, okay? We we could have been lions, we could have been any other animal, but he compared us with sheep, right? We are dumb, we need a shepherd, we need a guide, we need someone who guides us and tells us what to tell, and stops us when we are saying something wrong. That's why he is sent as a helper, and without him, we cannot do anything. That will we can do a lot of things, but nothing will come out of it, it will not bear fruit. That's why there is a scripture that says without love, anything that we do is counted as nothing. Whether you become Elon Musk, nothing. That's what it says, scripture. So stop comparing. Okay, let's not go there. We are here to preach gospel to even Elon Musk. Yeah, why not? I mean for God anything is possible, but is it possible with us? What would be your first statement? Hello, sir. Great. You do all that and you suddenly surprise him. Can I pray for you? And then everyone is looking at me. Is that okay? Is that fine? Are we prepared for that? Or just can I take a selfie? Met Elon Musk. The Holy Spirit of God say, Hey, can I pray for you? He will not say no because there are a lot of people there. Okay. Let's come back to uh the fifth point. The gospel must be shared with love, not pressure. Amen. Our tone matters. We are not trying to win an argument, we are trying to win a person, we are trying to win a soul, and you know what? We have the greatest product ever lived on the face of the earth, who is offering the greatest product himself for free. So it's very easy to sell. And yet, he does not call us as salesman or salesperson, he's calling us ambassadors, partners. That means CEO is giving us shares, and he's calling us. You can sit at my right hand, you will be co-CEO with me, and you can share about me, right? Free, of course. And you can be authentic completely and share your story, your side of the story. Because I put you in that neighborhood for that, yeah, the person you hate. I'm going to save that person only through you only. Yeah, difficult conversations. Difficult challenge. Someone easy, no, who will even before I speak, falls to their knees and starts praying and accepting you. But can we take up greater challenges today? Is that okay? Our our posture speaks louder. Right? If you go as a salesperson, the first thing that they ask is, do you want mixing grinder? But if a person who loves them goes, he says, and he says, is everything going okay? There's a big difference. Still selling the same thing. But we our foundation is love. Listen first, empathize with them. Don't argue, don't rush. Day one, you might get an opportunity and keep the door open. Most of the times it is not the enemy who is shutting the door. We only we empathize with them, keep the door open. If he doesn't respond on day one, wait till day ten. Every day, check on them. Hey, how are you doing? Hey, we had a great conversation three days back. You know, I love the coffee, but also the conversation. Uh five days back, I I uh I don't know how you are doing. Is everything going okay now? How are you feeling after that conversation? Day 10. Hey, do you want to meet again? Right? We never know when people respond, but we know for sure that people respond if we keep the door open and keep it open all the time for you know for the gospel to be preached to them. Amen. So I want to give you some tools, as I have promised, okay? The first one we have already done this. The very first thing is uh 30-second gospel. Okay? Some of you you have already prepared. So I want you to write the 30-second gospel. I want you to pull out the notebook, the pen, or the digital notes in your mobile phone. Let's do this quickly. I'll give you 30 seconds for you to write the 30-second gospel and let's put the reference as well. Can you go back to the previous slide? Okay, I want you to be ready. And it starts off with uh saying that God created us for relationship, and we sinned, but Jesus came, died, and rose to restore us. If you trust him, you receive forgiveness and new life. What would your 30-second gospel be like? Some of your gospels can be, Mama, I have something to share, it might come as hard, but uh, bro, I don't know, you know, but Jesus died, bro. Yesterday, that sermon hit me hard, right? Right? Whatever it might be. Or you might do it in English accent, which I'm not very clear. Right? But authenticity, authenticity with this core that we are created for a relationship, and we lost because of the sin that we have committed. Okay, so I'm sure you have this under your sleeve next time when you go for uh speaking to your friend. So here's the next exercise. Okay? This is talking about the three-part testimony. We have already looked at this. The three questions for us to prepare our testimony is before Jesus, meeting Jesus, and after Jesus. Okay? Imagine the one best friend that you who is a non-believer who you are approaching with this testimony, what would your testimony sound like? So before Jesus, what are the three words that you can write that would describe you before Jesus? Can you write it down? Okay? So this will help you to focus on the testimony and not the too many details that are not required. Okay? So if you have to describe your past in three words, what would those three words be? Solomon. Yours is very important. Hundred people waiting. Everyone, please do this exercise. This is out of love, okay? And no correction, so be free, be authentic. But this is your superpower, the weapon that you can use for expanding the kingdom of God. Can I have the team up, please? Okay, before Jesus, how Jesus met me and my life now. What is the transformation journey that you are on? Okay, if you have to uh you know do a transformation of the first three into now, how would you explain that? So, with these three questions, now you have a template that you can add more flesh, more little bit of details that you can form you know your testimony if you have to share with the people. Okay, the next thing is how many of you filled the cards that Pastor Comfort shared last week? The five cards, okay. If you did not, what we are doing is we are listing down five people, five favorite people. Don't tell the other five, don't show it that list to anyone, but share it with the church because the team, the prayer team, is praying over those names and we are sealing their salvation in the blood of Jesus, and we are helping you for your gospel preaching so that you can invite them on 13th or 24th whenever they are available, okay, so that God can speak to them, and it is because of your story that they have given their life to Jesus. Isn't that amazing? So list down five people if you have not. These can be your friends, colleagues, they can be Christians, but you know that they are not in relationship with Jesus. Okay, let's put down those five names, let's believe for their salvation. Once you have put down those five names, something that I wanted to do together as church, we make a commitment. Okay? Once you're done with those five names, let's stand to our feet and let's make this commitment before God. One quick challenge for this week. Okay, so our commitment is that this week we will intentionally look for one opportunity to share Jesus. Let me repeat that. This specific week we will look intentionally for one opportunity to share Jesus. Is that okay? Let's look to God in prayer. Remember those five names if you have written previously, or if you have written now. I want you to pray over them. Take their names. Lord, I pray for Ramesh, Shiva, Anthony, pray for Deepika, Jasmine, whatever those names are. I want you to speak it out so that in your confession there's an open door for their salvation. Let those names resound in heaven, that their salvation is sealed right now in this in this moment in this room. That when you go, Holy Spirit God goes with you with an agenda to save these souls. When you speak, heaven speaks. When you send a message, it is the message from heaven that is sent. It is God who will open doors.
