Episode 39 (Part 1) – What Does It Take to Be a Successful Parent?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In Part 1 of this two-part epsiode, we begin by challenging the way our culture defines success. Society often measures parenting by achievements, behavior, academics, athletics, or opportunities—but is that how God measures it?
Together, we turn to Scripture, focusing on passages like Deuteronomy 6, to discover God's design for parenting. We discuss the ultimate responsibility of parents, the importance of modeling a genuine relationship with Christ, and why the goal of parenting is far greater than simply raising well-behaved children. Our calling is to make disciples within our own homes and faithfully point the next generation to Jesus.
Join us as we redefine what it means to be a successful parent—not by the world's standards, but by God's.
