On Cue
Anders Larsson & Ladyhawke
Welcome to On Cue, Anders Larsson! Anders is a musician, photographer, and journalist. The bulk of his work is currently focused on Weirdo Music Forever, which is his photographic and journalistic project documenting the L.A. (and beyond!) underground artistic community. WMF highlights the work of musicians, visual artists, clowns, sex workers, poets, comedians, actors, dancers, and more. Anders makes his own music as Creative Audio Laboratory. CAL is
produced by his friend and collaborator Jason Falkner.
Anders picked the fantasy film Ladyhawke (1985) for an exploration into how musical choices impact a movie and the way it lands for audiences.
Plus, Trish's favorite thing this week is her neighbor's windchimes. And whaddya know-- that neighbor is ANDERS!

This week's cocktail or mocktail-- THE LADYHAWKE:
First, make a pineapple shrub by boiling 1 fresh chopped-up pineapple (or a bag of frozen pineapple) in 3 cups of water and 1 cup of agave syrup. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. When cool, add 1 cup of champagne vinegar and transfer into a jar in the fridge.
For the drink itself:
1½ oz Cachaça (for mocktail, use Caleño Dark & Spicy)
2 oz pineapple shrub
Combine the ingredients over ice in a shaker. Shake and strain into an inviting little glass and garnish with fresh or dried edible flowers.
