On December 6, 2022, Elizabeth Peabody experienced a missed diagnosis of a placental abruption. Her pregnancy had been healthy and progressing normally, but at 34½ weeks everything suddenly changed. Elizabeth began hemorrhaging and her blood pressure became dangerously unstable.

She was rushed by ambulance to Berger Hospital and later transported to Grant Medical Center. Tragically, by the time she arrived, it was too late — baby Harbour no longer had a heartbeat.

On December 7, 2022, at 1:20 PM, Harbour was delivered stillborn.

The grief that followed was unimaginable. In the aftermath of losing her son, Elizabeth later suffered a heart attack — a devastating physical reminder of the profound heartbreak that accompanies such a loss.

But this is not where the story ends.

Today, Elizabeth shares how what the enemy meant for evil, God used for good. Out of unimaginable loss, a new ministry was born — The Harbor Knoxx Peabody Foundation, created to honor Harbour’s life and bring hope, awareness, and support to other families walking through loss alone.
