Jacksonville, FL — 61-year-old Cassandra Valentin was found murdered in her Moncrief home. Her live-in boyfriend, Marvin Williams was the number one suspect. When police caught up with Marvin days later, he told police that an argument started over a football game and escalated to an argument about past domestic abuse that Marvin inflicted on Cassandra. The relationship was toxic from the very beginning but Marvin and Cassandra had been in a relationship for over a decade. Family members reported that “they knew this day would come.” Marvin told police that Cassandra wielded a knife after the couple had been drinking, a fight for the knife would ensue, claiming self-defense, but only one of them would make it out alive.
