Buford, Georgia—43-year-old George Young was a loving husband, father and entrepreneur. George owned a private security firm and was also a bodyguard to some of Atlanta’s most notable celebrities. On the evening of November 16, 2017, George returned home from a security event, when he was gunned down on the steps of his home. The only people who were home the night of the murder was Tia Young (George’s wife of 22 years), the couple’s three young sons, Tia’s Mom, and George’s live-in friend and business partner- Tim Lee. Who would want George dead? Did his job as a bodyguard place him in imminent danger? What would later be uncovered in this case is absolutely horrific and a twist that no one saw coming.
