When life gets loud and God feels quiet, the first lie we tend to believe is that we’re alone. I’m speaking to the tired heart that’s asking, “Where are You, God?” and the person who feels unseen in relationships, overlooked at work, or emotionally spent from a valley season that won’t end. If you’ve ever wondered whether God still cares about the details of your life, this conversation is a gentle but firm reminder that His silence is not His absence.

We walk through three anchor Scriptures that bring real Christian encouragement without pretending pain isn’t real. We start with Hagar’s wilderness moment in Genesis 16:13 where she names God “El Roi,” the God who sees. Then we move to Jeremiah 31:3 and God’s promise of an everlasting love that does not change when we struggle, doubt, or feel far away. Finally, we sit with Ephesians 3:17-19, asking God to root us in love and help us grasp the width, length, depth, and height of Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge. If you’ve been searching for Bible verses for anxiety, loneliness, or feeling abandoned by God, these passages meet you right where you are.

I also pray for you at the end, asking God to minister to you in stillness and make His Word come alive in your heart. If this encouraged you, subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next, share it with a friend who needs comfort, and leave a review to help more people find this message.

Be encouraged my friend, God is aware of and is acquainted with your grief and He will not leave nor forsake you. Blessings

Hi my friend and welcome back to another episode. Are you doubting that God sees and cares for you? If you are, then today's episode is just for you. Listen as I share my thoughts on this and share with you three key scriptures to remind you that you are loved and seen by Almighty God. Have you ever doubted that God really cares for you? You find yourself in a place and in a situation where you're wondering where is God in the midst of this? It seems as if your valley experiences are going on and on and on and there's no end in sight. Couple that with everything that else that is happening in the world, in your country, in your community, on your job, in your family, and you're saying, God, where are you? Where are you? Don't you see the struggles that I am faced with? Where are you in the midst of this? Do you feel unseen and on and unheard in your relationships, in your community? That means in your church and in your home and on your job. Do you feel as if God has abandoned you? No, He hasn't. I can identify with almost all of these emotions. I've had them at some point or the other in my life. Especially I feel this way when I'm trying to do what I believe God has called me to do, and I allow the noise of the thoughts of others and my own internal thoughts to let me question if God really cares about me. If the things that are hurting me and the things that I'm concerned with, if He's also concerned about them. And as I thought about this episode and I was asking, Lord, what would you want me to say to your people? What would you want me to talk about today? And a number of thoughts came to mind, but this one is the one that resonates with me. Because at some point or the other, we all find ourselves in a place where we are doubting God's care and concern and love for us. We've been there. And though we have experiences of knowing that God has not abandoned us, yet when we find ourselves in that season again, we go right back to feeling all alone. We go right back to wondering, Am I doing this by myself? Where is God in the midst of this? And so I want to remind you of Hagar. Remember that Sarah gave Hagar to her husband Abraham because God had given them a promise, and they were looking at the timing of the promise and couldn't see when it was going to happen. And then Hagar became pregnant with Ishmael. And Sarah wanted her to go because in her eyes, or in Hagar's eyes, she despised her. And so she was saying, Just put her aside, and they sent her away with bread and water. And Genesis 16:13 states, or let me go a little bit above. It states that now the angel of the Lord found her, that's Hagar, by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur. And he said, Hagar, Sarah's maid, where have you come from and where are you going? And she says, I'm fleeing from the presence of my mistress Sarai. And the angel of the Lord said to her, Return to your mistress and submit yourself under her hand. And then when we jump down to verse 13, it says, Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You are the God who sees. For she said, Have I also here seen him who sees me? And can I tell you, you're not forgotten by God? It does not matter what you're going through, it doesn't matter how it feels as if you cannot see his hand. You cannot see his hand, you're doubting his promises. He it is absolutely impossible for us to be forgotten by him. He might seem silent and it might appear as if he doesn't care, but he does. But in God's silence, in the time when it seems as if he isn't speaking, if you will tap into his presence, if you will tap into his holy spirit, you will note that God is doing something within your life. So that you can know that even though it might appear as if he is missing, that he is right there, the unseen hand. The God who is present at all times in the midst of our heartache and in our pain has not forgotten you. Right? He has not forgotten you. And you may be saying, But I'm not a Hagar today. You might not be a Hagar, right? But you are at a place you're experiencing the same feelings that she's experiencing. You may be on your job and you may be treated in a particular way, and you're doubting where is God in this? Do you see me, Lord? And He's saying, Yes, I see you. Yes, I see you. So El Rohi is a God who sees you. And I want now to turn to Jeremiah chapter 31 and verse 3. Jeremiah 31 and verse 3. And hear what it says. The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore, with loving kindness I have drawn you. Can you imagine that? When we feel unloved, when we feel unloved by our children, and we feel unloved by our friends, when we feel unloved by our spouses, and even when we feel unloved, when we don't love our own selves. Our Heavenly Father is saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love, a love that will not change. Even when you don't choose me, I still love you with an everlasting love. And I have drawn you with that love. What a precious promise we have today. What a precious promise we have that we can hold on to. That God loves us even before we were formed in our mother's womb. And even to when we breathe our last breath, my friend. God loves you. God loves me. God loves us. So when we feel forsaken, when we feel as if he hasn't seen us or he has abandoned us, know that no, he doesn't. Because who God loves, it's impossible for him to forgive. Forget. It's impossible for him to forget us. It doesn't matter. Even when we have walked away from him, he loves us and is just waiting for us to come back into his warm embrace. That's the kind of Father that we serve today. So if you feel that he doesn't see you, Genesis 16, 13 reminds us that yes, he sees. And if he sees, he's concerned about right where you are. If he sees, he is aware of your heartache and your pain and your suffering. And if he sees, that means nothing has taken him by surprise. And then when we go back to Jeremiah chapter 31 and verse 3, it is telling us that from everlasting to everlasting, God loves you, and nothing can separate you from that love. Absolutely nothing. It is you who can separate yourself, but God's love will not change, it will not be taken from you. You would have to draw yourself, withdraw yourself from that. And the third scripture which I want to share with you is from Ephesians chapter 3. Sorry, Ephesians chapter 3, verses 18 to 19, and hear what this scripture says. It's such a sweet, sweet, sweet passage of scripture. It says, My gosh. Should I read a little above? And let me start at verse 17. That Christ may dwell in your hearts. That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. That you being rooted and grounded in love may also be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Let me read that back for you again. That Christ may dwell in your heart through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. That is a promise, my friend, that God has made to you, that God has made to me, that God has made to us. Can you imagine? It is impossible to conceive the height, the depth, the width, the breadth of the love that God has for you and I. So where you are today, feeling downcast, feeling heartbroken, feeling dismayed and despondent and disappointed, can I encourage you today to hold on to Almighty God? Hold on to his unchanging hands. Hold on to him. He's not forsaken you, he has not despised you. It may seem as if he is not there, but he is there walking alongside you. He's holding your hand, he's drying your tears, he's healing your heart and he is restoring you. That's the God that loves you with an everlasting love. That's the God that is saying it's hard for you to comprehend this love that I have for you. So don't allow the enemy to come in and to disturb and to distort my love for you, to make you think that because you don't see me, that I don't care and I don't see you, I see you. The same way in which I saw Hagar, I see you. The same way I have drawn my children, I have drawn you. And I'm encouraging you today to hold tight, to hold tight, to trust me with your heart and not to lean to your own understanding, but in all your ways to acknowledge me, and I will direct your path. That's the God we serve, my sister, my friend. He's a God of love and compassion, and nothing that you're going through today has taken him off guard. He sees you, he loves you, he's drawn you closer to him. His love is so wide you can't get around it. It's so deep you can't get under it. It's so high you can't get over it. That's the kind of father you serve, and that's the kind of father who loves you. Can I pray for you? Heavenly Father, thank you that you see us. Thank you that you know what we are feeling, Almighty God. And your word says you're touched with the feelings of our infirmity. And so I lift up my friend before you today. I pray that you will minister to her where she needs you most. Show up for her, Almighty God. In her stillness, Almighty God, remind her that you are there, Father. Lord, when she seems, when she feels as if she you are not there, reveal yourself to her, Almighty God. I thank you, Lord God, for your words today. May these scriptures come alive in her heart. As she listens, Almighty God, may they do a work within her, Lord God. May she know, Lord God, that you are walking alongside her, that she is not alone, that she is loved by you, that she's seen by you, that you care for her, and that you love her with an everlasting love. Minister to her today, Daddy, I pray in Jesus' precious name. Amen and amen. My friend, if this was a blessing to you, I pray that you'll share it with someone else who will find comfort in this. Until next time, see you on another position for purpose conversations with Colette Marie.
