BORN TO BE ALL OF ME: There Is Always A Silver Lining with Brianna Brown Keen
Today I had the honor of being in conversation with the multi-faceted, multi-talented, and multi-passionate Brianna Brown Keen. She continues to say yes to the call of her soul, and trust her inner knowing. Brianna is a living example of what is a possible when you believe in yourself and always look for the lesson and silver lining in every experience. Brianna is an award-winning actress, producer, author, speaker, CEO of 501c3 nonprofit The New Hollywood, executive coach, and host of the Manifesting Your Mission Podcast. She has been featured in numerous high-profile roles on both the silver and small screen, appearing in over 300 projects ranging from indie films to big-budget productions. This October, she will debut her newest role as Hollis Robinson on the highly anticipated season four of Netflix’s hit show Outer Banks.
Brianna is most often recognized for her work opposite Claire Danes on the Emmy Award-winning series Homeland on Showtime, as the “love to hate” villain Dr. Lisa Niles on ABC’s Emmy Award-winning General Hospital (named “Best Storyline” by Soap Opera Digest in 2010), as series regular on Marc Cherry’s dramedy Devious Maids, and her reprisal of the crazy Claudia Blaisdel on CW’s Dynasty. In the spring of 2013, People’s Special Edition 50th Anniversary of General Hospital, Soaps in Depth, and Soap Opera Digest all named Brianna one of the best villains in the show’s 50-year history.
Brianna is also the Chair Ambassador for the National Women’s History Museum, where she has hosted and performed at their annual awards benefit since 2014. She published her much-anticipated annual guidebook, Manifesting Your Mission, in 2018, and also offers high-demand keynote speaking engagements, coaching, and workshops utilizing her method. Her 501c3 nonprofit, The New Hollywood, officially partnered with Harvest Home in 2024, serving as their official alumni program and helping formerly homeless single mothers through grants, goals, prizes, and mentorship within The New Hollywood Accountability Program.
