Right now the enemy is playing in identity. The reason is because he knows that if who you are is rooted in something temporary, you lose sight of the eternal. 

The enemy lost his heavenly identity and wants you to lose yours, too. That’s why he longs for people to keep their eyes on things below. 

Jesus says, “Look up. I am coming back soon.” He wants you to keep your lamp full of oil and know that your identity is in Him.
