15. The Final Hike (Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Washington)
While enjoying a hike to Pinnacle Lake in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, a mother-daughter duo were brutally murdered. Other hikers found their bodies and immediately alerted authorities. Was their killer another hiker on the trail? Was this a random act or were the pair targeted for unknown reasons? Why were these two women shot in the head while trying to enjoy nature on a hike? After 18 years, their case remains unsolved.
People with tips are encouraged to call the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
