Chef Buddha Lo

Winner of Top Chef Season 19 and Top Chef World All Stars Season 20, Buddha Lo is the Executive Chef and co-owner of Huso. Under his leadership, Huso has transformed from a small, caviar-focused tasting menu restaurant at its original location on the Upper East Side into an innovative 12-course dining experience in Tribeca and recently awarded its first Michelin Star in 2025. Born in Australia, Buddha began his culinary journey at 12 in his parents’ Chinese restaurant. He honed his skills working with top chefs in Melbourne, London, and at three-Michelin-star restaurants like Gordon Ramsay and Eleven Madison Park. Buddha’s diverse experience around the globe shapes his bold, creative approach to fine dining at Huso.
