Ken Mercer Show / Mercer Moments in American History LLC
Ken Mercer is referred to by some as the "Minister of Education!" He will report on both incredible, current events and historic "Moments in American History" that for some reason are...
DELETED and/or ERASED from our nation's textbooks and schools.
Is that academic bias meant to dilute the honest, documented faith and values of many of our Founders - including the impact and influence of new American Christians of the "Great Awakening?"
Mercer will bring those "Missing Moments" back! He tackles the "truths" and "facts" behind these historic and current events that will unite Americans, not divide us.
Ken will also share many of the incredible Bible Verses and Worship Songs that continue to define our history Faith and Values!
Remember two lessons from Ken Mercer:
A. There is only one United States of America. If we are gone, there is no other America to go to!
B. The "Secret" of America is this:
"In a place called the United States of America... in GOD We STILL Trust!"

Fear Not Friday: Daniel 10 - The Spiritual Battle Behind Your Prayers
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Silence after you pray can feel like rejection, but Daniel 10 tells a different story. We’re reading Daniel 10:10–14 and sitting with one of the Bible’s most grounding lines: “Do not be afraid, Daniel.” What follows is a window into why faithful people can pray with real urgency and still wait days or weeks for the breakthrough to show up.
We talk about Daniel’s world in sixth century BC Persia and why it matters that King Cyrus is not a follower of God, yet God still uses him to free the Jewish people from Babylonian exile and allow the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. That historical detail becomes a personal challenge: God can move through unexpected leaders and unlikely circumstances, even when the culture around us does not look aligned with our faith.
Then we trace Daniel’s response to fear: fasting and praying from day one through day twenty-one. The angel explains that the request is heard immediately, but there is resistance from the “prince of Persia,” pointing to spiritual warfare and unseen principalities rather than a human king. We also reflect on Michael’s role as help in the fight so the message can finally be delivered. If you’re wrestling with delayed answers to prayer, discouragement, or shame, this is a direct reminder that you are not alone and that “fear not” is not empty comfort. Subscribe, share this with someone who’s waiting, and leave a review with the question you’re carrying right now.
• Daniel’s faithfulness and the setting of sixth century BC Persia
• King Cyrus as an unexpected tool God uses to free exiles and support rebuilding
• Daniel’s fear and his choice to fast and pray for 21 days
• The messenger’s assurance that Daniel’s request is heard from day one
• The “prince of Persia” as spiritual opposition and the role of Michael in the battle
• The reminder that we are not alone and we should not be afraid, ashamed, or discouraged
Please read verses 10 to 14. You'll be blessed by that.

Fear Not Friday Welcome
SPEAKER_00Welcome to Fear Not Friday. With the end of every week, we come together to try to encourage and strengthen one another, reminding us that God tells us so many times to fear not, to do not be
Daniel 10 Sets The Scene
SPEAKER_00afraid. Today is for the book of Daniel, chapter 10, verses 10 to 14. In the famous verse where the angel of God tells Daniel, do not be afraid, Daniel. Daniel loved God, was a true servant of God, a prophet. Now, Daniel chapter 10.
Cyrus And God’s Unexpected Tools
SPEAKER_00Daniel is during the 6th century BC before Christ, not that BCE that they've been pushing some of our colleges and universities. I won't even get into that, but before Christ, 6th century BC, and the king of Persia was King Cyrus or Cyrus the Great. Now, he was not a follower of God, Cyrus, but God used him. Cyrus conquered Babylon and he freed the Jewish people from Babylonian exile. Key things. And although Cyrus was not a worshiper of God, he allowed the Jewish people to rebuild, rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. Again, 6th century BC, as I talk right now, more than 2,700 years ago.
Daniel’s Fear Leads To Fasting
SPEAKER_00Now, when Daniel was praying, he had a fear, a vision of a war, a dream of a war could happen. And he began fasting and praying on day one. He prayed one day, seven days, 14 days, 21 days. He was praying and fasting. And finally, he had an appearance from the angel Gabriel.
Gabriel’s Message And The Delay
SPEAKER_00The Bible doesn't say Gabriel, but I'll give you a clue. He says, Fear not, Daniel. Do not be afraid, Daniel. And if you watch my studies in the Old and New Testament, over and over, the messenger angel of God is Gabriel, and he begins by fear not, and he delivers a message. And he tells Daniel, We heard your request on the first day when you first began praying and fasting, but for 21 days we were fighting, fighting
Spiritual Warfare Behind Prayer
SPEAKER_00the prince of Persia. Now the prince of Persia, don't confuse that with the king of Persia, Cyrus, the prince of Persia, refers to the demons, the principalities of who? Of Satan. And this is interesting. The Bible's telling us that for 21 days he fought. He fought the prince of Persia, the ages of Satan, and finally the angel Michael came to help him. Michael, of course, is the warrior angel to defeat the prince of Persia. Again, the principalities, the demon of Satan, so that Gabriel could come forth and deliver the message to Daniel. But this verse is so important because it reminds us when we're praying, there are things behind this happening, spiritual warfare going on. Angels who are fighting for us, if you would, the good fighting against the evil, the angels of God fighting against the demons of Satan to answer our prayers. Incredible verse for Fear Not Friday. Daniel chapter 10.
Final Encouragement And Blessing
SPEAKER_00Please read verses 10 to 14. You'll be blessed by that. And remember, every week, you're not alone. Do not be afraid. Do not be ashamed. God loves you. Do not be discouraged. Fear not. Because God and his angels there are fighting for you, fighting the demons of Satan, the principalities of Satan. They're fighting, defeating them to answer your prayers. This is Kin Mercer with Feat Friday. And this Friday it's Daniel chapter 10, where the angel of the Lord says, Do not be afraid, Daniel. God bless you.
