Some lean too heavily toward grace, avoiding necessary confrontation, while others embrace rigid legalism that can damage relationships and create an atmosphere of judgment. Love, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 13, serves as the foundational characteristic of this community. This love is patient, kind, humble, and persevering, forming the basis for all interactions within the church. The body of Christ functions as a unified whole where each member plays a vital role, emphasizing equal concern for all, shared experiences of suffering and joy, and the recognition of each person's unique contribution to the community. This understanding of unity and mutual dependence is essential for building and maintaining healthy church relationships.
