Cheating Who’s Really to Blame: part 2
Hello everyone! This is The Purple Kool-Aid Podcast, and today we’re diving into Part Two of Cheating: Who Is Really to Blame?
Many women believe that when a man cheats, it’s just about sex—that the other woman is meaningless. But that’s a lie. Affairs are rarely just physical; they involve time, emotions, and connections.
People love joking that side chicks only get February 15th or never get holidays, but I know firsthand that many other women get birthdays, vacations, and even family introductions. I once dated a man who flew me to meet his mother—not knowing he was engaged. Another had me staying in his house while his wife was away.
The Lies We Tell Ourselves
Wives tell themselves they’re winning because they have the ring, the house, and the status. Meanwhile, the other woman convinces herself she’s the one he truly loves. But the truth is, everyone involved is hurting.
Men don’t just call women for sex and leave. They spend time. They bond. They fall in love. And they chase these women—they are not being hunted down or seduced against their will.
Women often think men never leave their wives, but that’s false. People leave relationships all the time. Many already have their next person lined up before they walk away.
What You Need to Know
Not all men cheat, but many do. And if you think the other woman is just getting sex, you’re lying to yourself. Affairs are built on time spent, just like your relationship once was.
Ladies—stop rushing into relationships. Take your time. Get to know who a man really is before committing. And don’t sleep with someone before you fully understand what you want and what he wants.
Thank you for tuning in. Until next time, this is The Purple Kool-Aid Podcast.
