Jonathon looks at Canadian gender doctor Karine Khatchadourian, who prescribed hormones to youth, and now challenges “medicalizing the majority of youth that are presenting to clinics.” She believes that the psychological benefits of puberty suppression are uncertain.
She challenges the Canadian media and political consensus, which portrays “gender-affirming care” as unquestionable and necessary to prevent self-harm. She calls for a national review.
