Talk No Dey Cook Rice Podcast
When we were younger, we all said we would be pilots, astronauts, and "big people" when we grow up. Here we are, "in the future," and we can clearly see how it is almost impossible to achieve those big dreams.
What happened? Did we just sit aloof, expecting life to turn out great?
Well, I sit down every week on the "Talk No Dey Cook Rice Podcast" (which translates as—Talk Is Hot Air) and interview young people who are literally living their dream lives in this somewhat “hard Ghana”.
I delve into their minds to understand how they have managed to keep their heads above water.
The Podcast is a peer mentorship program. Simply getting young people who are doing exceptionally well for themselves to mentor other young people who want to do big things “when they grow up”🥂

'You Dey Feel The Vibe' Hitmaker (Oneman1000): His Path To Music, Starting A Creative Agency & Overcoming Masturbation.
How does this young guy attain national recognition and achieve incredible feats at such a tender age? Perhaps he's built different—maybe not.
In this episode, ana Yaw Ofori-Atta, popularly known as 'Oneman1000', explains why he is a serial entrepreneur, shares his battle with pornography and masturbation, discusses dealing with hate comments on Twitter, and explains why he takes breaks from social media every year.
I pull the curtain back on how harsh I was to him when we first met in 2018. You'll also find out why he still came on the podcast despite having a bad day. Stay tuned for trivia questions at the end of the show!
