In this month’s School Spirit podcast, Renée Dawson, Director of Family and Community Engagement, speaks to the sponsors and a few members of the Empowered Girls Club at Simpson Middle School. Club sponsors and Simpson Middle School teachers Jennifer Herrin and Samantha Ashley share the inspiration behind the club. Three club members, Amira T., Olivia J. and Angela A., all 8th graders at Simpson, tell us what they enjoy about the club and what they have gained from it.
