Coming to you live from Chatters Bar and Grill in Bar Nunn, Wyoming. It's Buffalo Buffalo.
SPEAKER_00It's Buffalo, Buffalo, Buffalo, Buffalo, yeah!
SPEAKER_04Welcome to Buffalo Buffalo, the only podcast made with 100% whole grains. That's right, no additives, colors, or dyes of any kind. My name is Jeff, and I am your game master today. I am joined by three people. Um they happen to be uh, against all odds, the same three people who have been here for every single episode so far, which is just an example of a statistical anomaly. Um Jeff, take a look at me now, Jeff. Against all odds, yes.
SPEAKER_03They are Phil Collins. Yeah, that's a very old reference, isn't it?
SPEAKER_04I guess it is. It's over for it's over 40 years. So over 40 is ancient. As old as me, so it's about 10 or 15 years. Yeah. Uh Jerry, Pake, and Daphne. Thank you all for joining me today. No, I'm glad to be here. Good. The other two aren't, apparently.
SPEAKER_05Nah.
unknownThey're over it.
SPEAKER_05I have been here, done that before. I feel like even the location at the top. Haven't we been here before? We have not, as far as I can tell. It feels uh familiar. I don't know why.
SPEAKER_03I I think I think it might have been flappers or clappers. I don't know. I don't know. We've been to a lot of weird places. Well, there was that dolphin bar called Flippers.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04My map shows we have not been to Wyoming before this episode.
SPEAKER_02So Okay.
SPEAKER_04Let's never come back.
SPEAKER_02You know what? If we go back to a location, I want to go back to the Buffalo, Buffalo, Bungalow, Bungalow.
SPEAKER_04I mean, we'll probably be live from Buffalo, Buffalo, Bungalow, Bungalow to uh the Buffalo Ridge Lodge.
SPEAKER_02We will. I'm so excited.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Well, how is everybody doing today?
SPEAKER_03Okay. I got out of my truck today after right after work because it was again another long day. Because we're trying to get stuff out again. Um, and stuff's happening. Just unexpected stuff is happening. And to top it all off, thankfully the office is very nice and chill now. It's very cool in there.
SPEAKER_04Actually have AC. Good.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It's very working AC, so I maybe I just effed myself on that one. But um so driving out on the road, and mind you, this is road temperature, but uh driving out on the road, I looked down at my uh because I was checking what time it was because I had a thing right after work. It was 106.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, how hot was it, like air temperature though? I mean, was it probably a hundred? Oh, was it that hot? Wow.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Wow. There's only eighty here, which is the warmest it's been in a few days. So it's yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's been it's been warm here. We've had like 75 to 80 degrees, so nice and cool. It's now summer. Like in Maine, it's summer. Yeah, it's kind of summer.
SPEAKER_04Pretty good.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It's kind of summer everywhere in the northern hemisphere.
SPEAKER_04Uh yes, yes, it is, officially. Yes.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, not just Maine.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, not just special. Not just Maine.
SPEAKER_05Maine's not special. They don't get they're not the only ones that get summer right now. Share it with the rest of the country and even other countries.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. You know, Daphne, anything anything you say can and will be used against you. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I know. I tried to escape. I can't get away.
SPEAKER_04I know. You we found that you had a key, uh, had whittled a key. We had to take that away from you. So yeah.
SPEAKER_02But now, yes. I'll find a way out.
SPEAKER_04One of these days somebody is gonna think that we're actually like that Daphne is actually here fully against her will. And that's definitely not the case, right, Daphne?
SPEAKER_03Tell them, tell them that's not like the horse code. On an audio podcast. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. I I have to start looking at the weather in Dallas because I need to prepare. I mean, as much as you can prepare. It's hot. Bring shorts.
SPEAKER_04Why are you looking at the weather in Dallas?
SPEAKER_02Prepare to be sweaty. Because I'm going to Dallas. You're going to Dallas? By the time this is.
SPEAKER_04What?
SPEAKER_02New Twitter? By the time this episode comes out, I'll have already been there.
SPEAKER_05Oh no, I missed you.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04That's just that's messing with my head right now. Just the tiny wobbly, bibbly wobbly of it.
SPEAKER_05See, my day's been interesting today. I entered a pack with a warlock that if I don't fulfill my side of it, uh, I will probably die. It was a very thinly veiled threat.
SPEAKER_04And in addition to that, you also were playing DD in on an unrelated.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Well, I got my suitcase out because I need to like get it like ready. Like I clean my suitcase. Whenever I go anywhere, I always clean my suitcase.
SPEAKER_04It's probably better than dirty in your suitcase. You know? Yeah. Take a couple handfuls of dirt and throw it in there and make sure. Rub it in real nice. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then it reminded me of what happened to me the last time I was traveling, which is I got back to Boston and someone had taken my suitcase.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that's right. Oh no, I forgot about that. Found them before they left, right? Or they they had just left, or I'm trying to remember what it was now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I went to the to the kiosk and for American, and they got them to come back with the suitcase.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So I remembered then as I was taking a couple things out of the suitcase, because I always leave a couple things in it for some reason. And I remembered that my air tag battery was dwindling. And that my really cool tag from my suitcase with my name and address had disappeared.
SPEAKER_04Magic.
SPEAKER_02When yeah. So now I've got a f a few things I've gotta do. I'm ready to go. Probably. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, to prevent somebody else from taking your suitcase this time, Daphne, I think you should just like spray paint your name on the suitcase in huge letters.
SPEAKER_02You know, I thought about that.
SPEAKER_05Attach a bomb on it. That'll help with travel easily.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yes. It'll definitely keep everybody else away.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I have uh yeah. On my suitcases, I have a couple bright stickers on there. So it's just like, you know, because the all the other I tried that, but the material mine is made out of.
SPEAKER_05The stickers will stay stuck together.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. But a Sharpie might work.
SPEAKER_05I should do that. I have a couple little Sharpie stars on mine in different places.
SPEAKER_03The other thing I've done too is on my the uh this the name the address address tag that I have, you know, name and address on one side, it's made of metal. And it it has a uh a cable that like hooks through the hook, you know, hooks through the hook that little piece of metal and it screws t tight. So what I did is I put in some Loctite. So you can't, you know, like it's very difficult to it's not worth your time to try and do that. And but the the the best thing about it, it has a picture of Chester laser engraved on the other side.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I like that.
SPEAKER_03That is cool.
SPEAKER_02So now I'm looking for this other cool suitcase tag that it the tag holder, and it's shaped like a video game controller, and I, of course, cannot figure out where it is.
SPEAKER_03So it's not on the suitcase?
SPEAKER_02Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_03It's not on any other suitcases?
SPEAKER_05Is it with Jerry's Switch?
SPEAKER_01It probably is.
SPEAKER_05Is it plugged into the PlayStation?
SPEAKER_04Did somebody get confused for a real controller? What what uh what video game system is it? The controller.
SPEAKER_02I I don't even remember. I just had bought it thinking it was cool. Like, oh, I think I'd be a good one. Like an NES style one.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah. That'd be cool.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Or S N E S. That'd be cool too. But yeah. Yep.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so that is what's happening in my world is getting ready to travel.
SPEAKER_05It takes her two weeks to pack.
SPEAKER_02Kind of, no. It doesn't. It's just I like to I like to be ready with all the little ridiculous things that can go wrong. I try to take care of those first. Like the stuff that I need and stuff I don't want to forget, things I can't be without. And so I just make a list.
SPEAKER_04Check it twice.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And I've got like five or six things on it so far. I just keep adding to it.
SPEAKER_04Yep. Yeah, I've finally a few years back, I finally took time to like make a real list of like every little thing that I want to make sure to pack. And then I'll all I really have to do is update, you know, based on the number of days that I'm going, just you know, that kind of numbers there, but I just kind of keep it in my suitcase so that whenever I go to pack, it's like, okay, here's my checklist. Here's everything that I need to have. And yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yep. I do that for my camera bag. I have a specific checklist for that to make sure I have everything. Because I've had nightmares where I have forgotten my camera or forgotten the lens or forgotten something. But then I've also gone to competitions and not had memory cards or forgotten my card reader. And so I have to have like those are things I need. Yeah. Although Robin is gonna be there with me.
SPEAKER_05Robin Joe?
SPEAKER_02I can bar. No, just Robin.
SPEAKER_05Okay, just Robin. Yeah. Not unjust robin.
SPEAKER_02So Robin's gonna be there too. Just Robin.
SPEAKER_05Eleven just robins.
SPEAKER_04Oh, sometimes I feel bad for Daphne. But then I get over.
SPEAKER_03But not but not bad enough to not do this. Yes.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03So you have annual bullshit. So we have Rob, Unjust Robin, just Robin, Robin, Joe, or no, Robin Joe, and then and then also Rob. Was that so now it's expanded to look like what nine people?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. That's at least nine.
SPEAKER_03Definitely, you you know a lot of people.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I do know a lot of people, and most of the ones you just listed are fictional.
SPEAKER_05You know fictional people? That's cool. How'd you get introduced to them?
SPEAKER_02I don't know the fictional people, the ones that you've come up with that you just named. Three out of the nine people you named are real. The rest are not.
SPEAKER_05Oh. Are you gonna break it to them that they're not real? Because we keep hanging around them.
SPEAKER_03So Daphne, are they in the room with you right now?
SPEAKER_02I am no longer gonna dignify this shit with an answer.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Well, if you'd like to, we can go ahead and move to a game.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I I'm dying for a game.
SPEAKER_04Great, great. Uh this game is called Hold On, let me finish. Uh what you are going to be doing, it's kind of a reverse shark tank of sorts. Uh, you are going to be pitching me products that are just not not good. Um and it is your goal to convince me and the others here that of the benefits of this product. However that however that works. You know, maybe you find a um a niche community of people who would like this, or you explain why it's not as bad as it sounds. Um however it works, but just uh the goal is basically to convince us that it's a good product.
SPEAKER_03Okay. So it's a very bad product. Yes.
SPEAKER_05Don't don't go into it with that kind of attitude, or you're never gonna succeed. You're gonna be good.
SPEAKER_04Uh so we'll see how this goes. I kind of have no idea how this is gonna go. And it's maybe maybe we do just one round and that's enough, or we do it twice around. Uh what I'm gonna have each of you do is choose a number, 1 to 25, and I will assign you a product based on that. And what I will do is I will just uh message you in the chat, each one of you, uh, with the product description, and then give you all a couple of minutes to prepare something. So uh Daphne, do you want number 13?
SPEAKER_02Or I do, I'm afraid.
SPEAKER_04Give her the one that you actually placed in 13. Not that it's a good prompt or anything, but it just when I came up with it, I I liked this one. I thought this was a good real fun. There's some of them that were like, oh, how do I come? Maybe I'll do this kind of thing. But uh this one I really like. Um Peike, choose a number. Twenty-five. Twenty-five. And Jerry? Took me to the bottom of the list. Um. Two. Oh Peik, you are going to hate this one. And I am really curious to see how you manage to sell it. Jerry, I don't think you're gonna be a big fan of this one either. Of yours either. Um, okay. Let me give me a minute here. Alright, each of you has been given your product and a brief description. Jerry. I knew he would hate this one. When I wrote it, it was like, I I kind of hope Jerry doesn't take this one because it's so like it's the exact kind of thing that Jerry would hate.
SPEAKER_05Well I it's kind of similar to mine. For me.
SPEAKER_04Yes, yours is very much when I came up with it, it was like, oh, this is a like this is kind of opaque.
SPEAKER_02You ruined Jerry. I really did.
SPEAKER_04I'm considering giving him another one.
SPEAKER_03I'll take it.
SPEAKER_04I I've had I've had to deal with bad people before I can deal with a bad topic, so like I said, I'll give you guys a few minutes to kind of prepare what you want to do.
SPEAKER_03I I don't even want to write this down.
SPEAKER_04Oh god, Jerry. This is really like you picking eleven and thirteen on Levi's game all over again. It really is. It's like if I could have chosen the most imperfect prompt for Jerry and Pake, it would be these two. Okay, well I think Daphne actually has the easiest job because she's the least like emotionally against her topic.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And does that does that imply I'm the most emotionally against my topic? You and Peik. Honestly, once you hear Pakes, you'll you'll understand. Oh okay.
SPEAKER_01Oh boy. Wow.
SPEAKER_03I would not be a good ad writer. I'm a much better engineer than I am an ad writer. Yeah. Even though, but even though I do come up with topics like, you know, the uh uh set you know setting the scene in in Middle Earth. Set our scene in Middle Earth, yes.
SPEAKER_02Over and over and over again.
SPEAKER_04Yes. Basically, the way that I'm gonna be judging this is completely subjective. Um a lot of it is just one, how well do you sell it? Even if it's still terrible in the end, how well do you make it seem like this is something that someone out there would appreciate? Um obviously, you know, humor and cleverness are gonna play a part, but are not like they're not the most important thing. It's not like be as you know silly and pun-filled as possible, and that's gonna win. You know that that is It's helpful, but humor is always helpful when it comes to like you know, selling and that kind of thing. But it's more about being able to sell the product. Now I'm wondering what Daphne is laughing about.
SPEAKER_02Wouldn't you like to know?
SPEAKER_04She either just had a great idea or somebody used a little bit of nitrous oxide in the in the in the guru.
SPEAKER_01I got I got it was unjust Robin.
SPEAKER_02Damn that unjust Robin. Oh man. No, I'm gonna lean in on mine.
SPEAKER_06Good.
SPEAKER_02I've I've got you're I got nothing to lose when it comes to.
SPEAKER_04You really don't have anything to lose. The only thing you could do is loot not win the game, which means basically nothing. So Yeah, the whole game would mean nothing at that point. That is true.
SPEAKER_02Pegue is gonna win anyway. Like I He wins Yeah, he wins a lot of your games.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Can't I don't no, hang on. Because of the subject matter, I have to use a derogatory word. You already used one. Are you already have a used your one for the day?
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna do it. Go ahead. Do you have like rollover?
SPEAKER_03Um Well I don't plan on talking to many people tomorrow, at least to one day. There you go. There you go. You can just use tomorrow's. Depends on who the meeting is with. Um okay, yeah, it's best best not to use it then. I'm I'm I'm good. So Okay.
SPEAKER_02I I I'm ready, Jeff. I I've got I've got a whole spiel now. I'm ready.
SPEAKER_04Great. All right. Well, Jerry, you You can kind of keep working on yours if you need to, but I'll go ahead and have Daphne uh start selling.

SPEAKER_02That's great. Peg wants to get one now. But he doesn't have a couch. Do you have a you don't have a couch?
SPEAKER_05I do, but I don't use it. It's got it's well right now it's all the more reasonable than keep track of it.
SPEAKER_04Things if you don't use it often, you might you you might lose it, you know?
SPEAKER_02Peg, is it a receptacle for the things that you don't know what to do with?
SPEAKER_05Right now, yeah, pretty much.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's my table in the kitchen. We don't eat at it, but it's it's holding things right now.
SPEAKER_04Yep, that's my my old apartment, my couch was very often the um grocery couch. Like when I come home with bags or anything like that. Um the jacket couch, you know, just take off the jacket and throw it on the couch there. Yep. Um the I'm going to go through this box eventually couch.
SPEAKER_05Yep, that all sounds familiar.
SPEAKER_04Alright. Uh Pake, you good to go?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I think so. Alright. Alright. Are you feeling lonely? Are you longing for those days where you could be in a committed, wonderful relationship, bring home some kind of beautiful or handsome date, sit on the couch, and watch some TV together, watch a show together, Netflix and chill. And then of course, every time you do that, you run the risk of learning that that person you've brought home to watch TV with is one of the worst human beings on the face of the planet Earth because they do the one thing nobody wants talking during the show. They'll constantly ask questions. Who's that? What are they doing? I've seen that actor before. What else have they been in? Why are they carrying that briefcase? What did they say while I was talking to you about what they said before in the scene before the scene before? If this has been you, know that you can prepare yourself for these moments by buying our new product, the Questioning TV. It will do the questioning for you so you can be ready for it, prepared for it, inundated with all of the banal aggravating questions that that date will definitely be getting you while you're watching the show. And then you can decide then, is it worth it? And then when you decide no, you won't feel so lonely anymore. The questioning TV.
SPEAKER_02It goes great with the couch GPS.
SPEAKER_04You come home, you've got your date there with your questioning TV, and you go, where's the couch? Yes. So, Peike, the questioning TV while watching a show asks you questions about the show you're watching. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that is horrendous. That is like not something Peike would ever want.
SPEAKER_04That's why I was saying this is such a like personal one for Peike.
SPEAKER_02I mute myself now because I don't want to interrupt.
SPEAKER_03Okay. I have left movie theaters because the people talking. But only only when they're full. But if they're not, I just move to a separate part of the theater.
SPEAKER_04I like the idea of you being on a date with somebody at the theater and just like moving a few stages. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Just no, you they're like, oh, are we going on? No, you stay there. You stay.
SPEAKER_04You stay, I have no following. The first date I ever went on, I talked through the whole movie just trying to. I was doing uh like giving like inf it was a movie, and I was giving like background information and stuff like that, trying to like impress her, I think.
SPEAKER_05Oh, young Jeff. No. Oh no.
SPEAKER_04One of those things where it was like, you know how they filmed that? Oh god. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Oh I took I I took a uh date, you know, date to a movie once, and she won, you know, she was real squeamish about like gory scenes. So it's let's make sure this doesn't have any gory scenes, but you know the movie she wanted to see was Ghost Ship? And if you've ever seen that movie opening is like I was floored by that opening.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. One of the wildest openings that I've seen.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I'm familiar with the movie, but I've never seen it.
SPEAKER_03Oh, we gotta watch the cold open after the show. Okay, sure.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05One of the wildest openings I've ever seen. Title of My Sex Tape.
SPEAKER_04Oh, man. Oh, on that note, let's move on to Jerry's product.
SPEAKER_02All right, Jerry. Jerry's cringing.
SPEAKER_03Jerry needs a great pass. I'm gonna pass along the cringe.
SPEAKER_04This was one that I really hesitated, and then I made it much, much worse with the last two words of the of the prompt.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Do you have a neuter dog that just doesn't feel dogly enough? Do those bitches just turn their nose and gaze away? Make him feel like a real dog once again, with doggy truck nuts from Balco. Fabricated at the newly built Balco Mega Factory in Florida, we promised to make every breed from Chihuahua to Great Pyrenees feel like the dog they were born to be. Legal disclosure, please use proper size for your breed, or Chihuahua wheelies will happen. That's doggy truck nuts from Balco.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that's so great.
SPEAKER_06Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Pake and Daphne did a spit take, and they weren't drinking anything.
SPEAKER_02No. Honestly, um I feel like these should be commercials in our episode.
SPEAKER_05Our new sponsors. Yeah, well, we need we need more sponsors to throw to commercial to when when Jerry's rebooting. So because like Redonovan's been carrying that weight quite a bit. So we need some new newer ones to throw to from time to time.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And I thought of that one just when it hit me, just like it went on the fly, just boom, all the way through. I think that we definitely need to have a uh we're gonna have to get these recorded by someone with a different voice and and insert the main because they're very I'd like that I put the vision of Chihuahua wheelies in your head with Yes, absolutely, because I could see it.
SPEAKER_04Just their hind legs just flailing around, thank you for that.
SPEAKER_03I mean, I didn't like it, but I ended up kind of liking that one, but it's just I He was like, why would you give this to me?
SPEAKER_05Now at the end, he's like, I'll take seven.
SPEAKER_03Just put them on random dogs that I find.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03But there is have you have you seen the thing for cats called Twinkletish? Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02No, I have not.
SPEAKER_03It's a metal hook that goes over the base of the tail and it covers the uh the back door with a jewel. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm not doing that to my cat.
SPEAKER_03I'm not doing that to Dante.
SPEAKER_02Dante already is grumpy at me. He would that would be it. He would never allow me near him again.
SPEAKER_05You want to bedazzle his butthole?
SPEAKER_02No, I do not.
SPEAKER_01I do not.
SPEAKER_04Oh, well, that was a lot of fun. Uh we should do one more each. Let's do it. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_04So please, each of you, choose another number. Uh I don't care what order you go in. Just shout them out.
SPEAKER_05Um bet I know what Daphne wants.
SPEAKER_02Eleven.
SPEAKER_05Right. I was right.
SPEAKER_04She told us early on. This is an interesting one because I really left it open to you.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_04Title of the sequel. Take and Jerry.
SPEAKER_03I was sixteen. I will do number five.
SPEAKER_04And number five for Jerry.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, these are much less there's gonna be much less of a visceral reaction to these.
SPEAKER_03I I would use this.
SPEAKER_04Well that's good. You can definitely sell it. I am very curious to see what Daphne does with this one. Like I said, I really left it up to her.
SPEAKER_02Well, you'll see. Or rather, you'll hear it.
SPEAKER_04I I will hear it. Probably won't see it. Maybe a little. Oh, I'll see your mouth moving, so I think Paik's is the first one that I came up with, and Jerry's is the last one I came up with.
SPEAKER_05Daphne are you typing up your speech, or are you just letting ChatGPT do it for you?
SPEAKER_02I am typing up my speech.
SPEAKER_05So Paik's having ChatGPT do it for him? Yes. Okay.
SPEAKER_02He is.
SPEAKER_05Because you know me. I love AI so much.
unknownYou do.
SPEAKER_02Mine, I actually can relate, go ahead. I can I can relate to the one I have because my brother actually is.
SPEAKER_04Oh, so it's doggy truck nothing. Features. Okay.
SPEAKER_02No. So I'm wordsmithing.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, full disclosure, I did have Chat GPT help me with some of these, like prompting for ideas.
SPEAKER_01As you would.
SPEAKER_04And most of them were not good, where I was like, no, no, try again. Let me let me let me give you five examples and you go off of that.
SPEAKER_02Yep. I've got. I'm just following a similar formula to what I did the first time. Because I I'm just not very creative. So I have to I have to use what I have, which is any creativity whatsoever that comes to me at the time. Okay.
SPEAKER_05So yeah, y'all are writing stuff down. I'm just taking a concept and going like, alright. Got an idea.
SPEAKER_04We all have our own ways of doing things. Like, for me, I don't know how I would necessarily work with this, but in general, like if I'm doing something where I'm giving a presentation or a speech or anything like that, I make a handful of bullet points. And then it's just like almost like connect the dots. This is the points that I need to hit, and I'll make my own way as I go from point to point. I can't do like a rehearsed speech or anything like that. It's I I need to kind of you know free jazz it a little bit.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's kind of like I looked at it, and then once the first idea of how to present it came across my mind that made me giggle, I went, alright, we'll do that.
SPEAKER_04Um I resisted the urge to put uh a keyboard that is all the letter P on here.
SPEAKER_02Oh, but that would have been fun. Well, you could have made And no one would have gotten the joke except like the three of us, but it could have been And hopefully a lot of our listeners, because they are all bropout subscribers.
SPEAKER_05At this point, they better be. We've preached the gospel enough.
SPEAKER_04What is a B but an upside down P? What is a Q but a backwards P What is a D?
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_04All right. Uh I think Jerry's still working on his Daphne and Paike. Either of you feel like going first?
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, I'm ready. Okay.
SPEAKER_04Why don't you go ahead then?
SPEAKER_02All right. For centuries, left-handed people have been forced to wear hats designed for right-handed heads. But not anymore. Introducing the left-handed hat, the world's first hat engineered specifically for left-handed individuals. What's different about it? We don't know. Tell us. Product features include left-handed. It's definitely a hat. And it's worn by dozens of satisfied customers. But it's scientifically impossible to explain. Some of our reviews include my right-handed brother tried it on and immediately felt uncomfortable. Five stars. Another five star review. The moment I put it on I could tell something was different. I still can't explain what. Left handed hat trademark. The hat big and dexterous. Doesn't want you to know about.
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh. I love the leaning into the we have no idea. The entire description of this one. The entire description of this one. Left-handed hat hat. I don't know, you tell me. I just liked the idea. I was trying to come up with a left-handed something. You know? And it was like, what's the what's the kind of thing that like there's absolutely no way that it could be any different, you know?
SPEAKER_02And my brother is left-handed, so I know in his life he has like dealt with everything. Like being left-handed, it it's just it's a challenge sometimes.
SPEAKER_03Does he go into Burger King or Burger King and ask for a left-handed whopper?
SPEAKER_02No, Jerry. No. So I just kind of leaned into that a little bit. And that's the best you're gonna get from me, because I I'm not. It's not my strength. So I just wanted to make you laugh, and I hope I did.
SPEAKER_04You did.
SPEAKER_02That was the most important thing.
SPEAKER_04It's honestly the most important thing in the world is making me laugh. You know, and I'm glad that you recognize that, Daphne. Ten points to Gryffindor. Alright, Pate, are you ready?
SPEAKER_05Yes.
SPEAKER_04Great.
SPEAKER_05Alright. I'm gonna be watching your face to watch you be like, where is he going with this? How does this tie in? Alright. Hey kids. It's summertime, and you're finally out of school. But just because you don't have to go to school doesn't mean your parents don't have to go to work. They're not taking time off to watch your ungrateful ass all day, and they definitely don't trust you to stay home. So what do they do? They send you to your grandparents' house for the week. At least during the days. And it's a lot of great time hanging out with grandgram and peepaw. You got a lot of great stuff you can do, a lot of great activities together. Playing in the yard, going fishing, helping around the house with chores, but there's always one part of their daily routine. You just feel out of place, and you can't be a part of it. And that's the tons and tons of pills they have to take every morning and every evening. And you wonder, how can I join in and have this also be a bonding experience? Introducing the everlasting pills. We will give you pills that not only look like, but actually contain the same ingredients and medical needs and uses that your grandparents' pills do. The caveat though, if we gave you all those things that they took, they would just ravage your little bodies to past the point of recognition. But that's where the everlasting pills come in. They pass through your digestive tract completely intact without any medical release whatsoever. None of the medicine comes out, and they stay the same the way they went in. So they're also reusable. So join in on Medicine Time with Mamma and Peev over and over again. Everlasting pills.
SPEAKER_04Oh, so many points for going with the reusable angle. I I wanted to put it in there and I was like, no, I'm gonna let whoever gets this one uh ideally find that for themselves.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I I would have I would have called them maybe self-recycling or something like that.
SPEAKER_04Oh I do like that your grandmother's name changed from grandgram to mama.
SPEAKER_05It's doing it.
SPEAKER_04It's a polycule.
SPEAKER_05It's a very progressive polycule.
SPEAKER_04Geriatric polycule. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01Oh, there we go. There we go.
SPEAKER_04That was good. I really was. I was sitting here wondering where is this going? Not going to school, parents going to work. Where is he going? Where is it going?
SPEAKER_03Everlasting pills. Oh my god. I already know mine won't be as good as that.
SPEAKER_02Do you guys know that I just looked up what a geriatric polycule is?
SPEAKER_05Do they have a different term for it?
SPEAKER_02Do they have a picture?
SPEAKER_05A gray clump.
SPEAKER_02A network of older adults, often 60 plus, engaged in consensual non monogamy or complex, interconnected, polyamorous relationship webs.
SPEAKER_04Yes. That would be a polycule. That would be a geriatric polycule. That makes sense. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02There we go. Again. You've learned so much from Buffalo Buffalo.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and kids, this is how SPDs get spread at the home. Not if you're careful. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_05You can take a pill for it. You won't do anything. You can. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Alrighty.
SPEAKER_02Alright, Jerry. Close. Take us home, Jerry. Take us home.
SPEAKER_03This won't be as good as the Chihuahua wheelies. Okay. Just sell it. Okay. We all love the rain, but we don't get we don't love getting caught out in it. But have you ever gotten caught in the rain outside Zurich? Did you also forget your lunch as well? Well, we have the solution for you. From Cheese Co. comes the Swiss Cheese Umbrella. Where we solve two problems, keeping the rain off your head and get getting rid of your hunger. That's the Swiss cheese umbrella. Legal disclaimer. Holes in cheese fabric are unavoidable as this is how the cheese is made. That's cheese. That's the Swiss cheese umbrella from Cheeseco. Get yours today.
SPEAKER_05Now I know these are like game answers, so I was not gonna interrupt. You know, let Jerry do his thing, but there's so badly I went to the beginning of his when he said, Do you like you don't like getting caught in the rain? I was like, not unless I have a pina colada.
SPEAKER_06That's a different story.
SPEAKER_03Oh, now that I think about it, I could have I could have worked escape in there. Yes. Yes.
SPEAKER_04Oh my goodness. You know. I'm trying to figure out how I want to judge this. This honestly, these were all fantastic. They really were. Uh I was very impressed with Jerry's ability to come around on doggy truck nuts. Uh I really enjoyed Pake like the background seething on the product when he was like the worst person in the world. Uh honestly, I'm gonna give this to Daphne. This this was What? You really leaned into it. You it was very funny, very clever. It was it w it was really it was really good.
SPEAKER_02I can be funny sometimes.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you absolutely can. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Especially when I'm tired and I don't and I just decide I don't care and I just have to come up with something.
SPEAKER_04So now that you win, now that you've won, the game is you know a good game. So it matters now.
SPEAKER_02Oh in this game, this game, um Jeff put a lot of thought into it. You didn't come up with the game.
SPEAKER_04You didn't do any work at all, Pake. I provided you with a copy for your advertisement.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Well, I deducted points because you cheated. Oh, honestly, this was one of those games that it was like really kind of a let's see how this goes kind of thing. And it went really well. I really enjoyed I really enjoyed everything that you guys had. You know, we've had we've had really good ones. Our our movie pitch uh episode was one of my favorites to listen to. Um, and then on the opposite side of that you had our Christmas episode where we tried desperately to come up with puns and failed miserably.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Before you know it, we'll be recording a Christmas episode again. We didn't do one last year.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we didn't do one.
SPEAKER_04We didn't do one. We didn't manage to get one out last year.
SPEAKER_02I think we need to this year.
SPEAKER_05Yes, we need two. We'll do two of them. We'll do two. One for last one.
SPEAKER_02Maybe we'll do one that's like a cliffhanger.
SPEAKER_04Ooh.
SPEAKER_02And come back the following week with like part two.
SPEAKER_04Previously on Buffalo Buffalo.
SPEAKER_05He's wheeling! The Chihuahua's wheeling! He's wheeling! Will they make it out?
SPEAKER_03Find out next time. Oh my god. Yeah, but I I do like the the that I the the picture of Chihuahua's wheeling chihuahua wheels.
SPEAKER_04It's fantastic. I'm really I'm picturing it.
SPEAKER_03It's like carrying something that was meant for a dog twenty to thirty times its size.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god. Well, thank you so much for humoring me with this game. This was this was one of my proud.
SPEAKER_02This was super fun. I enjoyed it. I would have enjoyed it even if I didn't win because I just it was fun.
SPEAKER_04Yes, it was.
SPEAKER_02I picked good numbers for myself.
SPEAKER_04I think you did. I think you did. I definitely had some like like I said, that last one was very much you run with it. You tell me, you know, I can't I like the idea of a left-handed hat, but I have no way to describe it, you know. And you leaned into that with that.
SPEAKER_02I just leaned into it being this I mean, honestly, I took that as the slogan and made it because it doesn't make sense to me. A left-handed hat. There's no reason for a hat to have anything to do with that. Like it shouldn't affect it.
SPEAKER_04And so But it somehow does.
SPEAKER_02I I just wanted it to be ridiculous.
SPEAKER_04So it was ridiculous. Congratulations.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Well, if you've enjoyed listening to this tonight, not every episode is like this. Some episodes are awful. Awful.
SPEAKER_03See flip marrying.
