Verily I say unto you, Jesus said, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached, gospel shall be preached in the whole world. There shall also this, the language becomes a bit awkward in the English. There shall also this, this also is part of the gospel message when you preach it. What this woman hath done, and people will remember her because what she has done. Let me boil that down when you're preaching the gospel around the world. So that includes us today, for they didn't reach the whole world. When you're preaching the gospel, part of the gospel, not an embarrassing add-on. Part of the gospel is that you preach what I have done for you and what you do for me, just like it was talked about by Paul relating to Melchizedek, Abraham, give him tithes. It's part of the gospel message. Yet we have become embarrassed. Allah, my story in Ireland, or we're embarrassed because of what these clines do, making themselves wealthy on television. I want you to give this money so that you can get that. She did a lovely thing. Not because she was trying to get something, though it's true, that God will bless you. You're a giver. You know, that's how all life starts, that's how all life continues. Just like breathing in and breathing out. You want to breathe in to keep living? You better breathe out. No, I don't believe in giving. I'm just going to breathe in. Well, okay, right, start right now. You think you're David Blaine or something, you know? You think you can suck in your breath and only say, You will only breathe in and have a quality of life in accordance with the way that you breathe out. You start off the day with smiling to somebody, these are just little examples. In all probability, they will smile back. You get mad with somebody, they'll get mad with you. There is a law in life. It could be called the law of reciprocity. What you give, you will receive. Jesus said when his blessing comes upon that, it becomes an incredible thing. What is it? Well, it is. Give and it shall be given unto you. Good measure, pressed, done, shaken together, running over. And although there it's talking about mercy and not money, nevertheless, the principle is the same. We are givers. Why? God built that into the human psyche. It's the way life works, it's the way that all of life works, and it's the way that the gospel works, because here Jesus in the week of the cross says that the gospel, and I'm going to reverse it a little bit to give the impact. Jesus is saying, you're preaching only a part of the gospel. When you preach what I do for you, you will complete the message when you preach what you do toward me and make it a lovely thing, not based on covetousness, not based on some kind of legalism, but you do a lovely thing to me, and when you do it, you will be glorifying Calvary all the more, and together we'll become partners to bless the world.
