Jesus healed the sick. Now listen to it awfully carefully that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying, Himself took, carried them away. He took our infirmities and he bare our sicknesses. If you read that in the Greek, it leads you back to Isaiah where the word is NASA. This ability of God, now I've got to repeat this, this ability of God not only to lift you out, but to lift you up and place you in a whole different area. If there was a man and he was going under for the third time, drowning in a river, and you happen to be walking by and there happened to be a rope there and you threw it in and you saved that person's life, he held on to the rope, would everybody rejoice because he's out there in the middle of the river holding onto the rope? No, his life is saved, but he's got to get to another place. He's got to go out of the river altogether. And so with God he not only lifts us up above the earth, spiritually speaking, he lifts us, breaks the power of the world, the flesh and the devil, but he takes us to a different place altogether. If any man be in Christ, he is a brand new creation. The old things, the Mary Clay, is passed away. Behold, look with wonder all things have become brand new. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow this ability for God to carry away, to put us in a new place. Like the psalmist said, with our feet upon a rock, establish our goings and put a new song in our mouths. The way it says it here is that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet and again I remind you that's Isaiah 53 verse 4 himself took our infirmities.
