True happiness is not found either at the bottom of a bottle, at the push of a needle, or by swallowing some drug? No, true happiness is living a fulfilling life. A life where you live for others, albeit your own family to start with. Anyone can make money and live in the fast lane if they work hard enough, but what then? If you make it to the top of the heap, what then? What will you do to stop being bored? What will drive you higher when you've reached the top? If you're at the top of the ladder of so called success, what then? When you've done it all, what then? You who are rich brought no more into the world than the poorest of the poor, and as the Big Brick declares, it's certain that you'll carry nothing out of it. The Big Brick also declares that the rich often fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and hurtful things, which will drown them, for the love of money is the root of all evil. The Big Brick also goes on to say that by trying to be the top of the heap, many pierce themselves with many sorrows. Listen, you may be living the rich life, but without balance you'll fall into foolish and hurtful things. If you don't believe me, look at the rich and famous. See what has behind the fast scars and loose living. See what lies behind the false smiles, the broken relationships, hurting children, and a yearning for more money. Someone once gave me this modern day proverb Satisfaction I will never want, contentment I will always have. He shared it with me as I was climbing the ladder of so called success yet again. I must say it took me a few hours to see the truth that was locked inside this word. Let me share this with you because if you will take it on board, it'll revolutionize your life. All of us long for contentment, but in order to try and find it we chase satisfaction instead. The problem with this way of living is we're never ever truly satisfied. Chasing the elusive satisfaction leaves us with no sense of being content with our lot, and so we continue seeking, racing after it. Now let me turn it around to a way that works for every single person. Be content wherever you are, and you'll always be satisfied. Does this mean that you simply drop out? Of course not. It simply allows you to have live a contented, fulfilled life while striving for the unobtainable status of satisfaction. For me, it was the beginning of a new way of living. Suddenly the guy who wanted to be satisfied found contentment, and in doing so became completely satisfied with what I had achieved. Satisfaction like Mercury. It can never be grasped, but contentment allows real living at a pace which leaves time for those that you love.
