Project 20 - Week 13 Update | Confidence Boost and Running with Zeke 🐾
Welcome back to Project 20! Week 13 is done, and it’s been a great week. After last week's time trial didn’t go as planned, this week was a turnaround. Coach Carl joined me for an 8x400m track session, and I smashed the target times!
Also, a special shoutout to Zeke , my running buddy this week. He’s done about 30 kilometers with me! It’s incredible how quickly things can change from one tough run to feeling like you’re back on track.
Seven weeks to go, and we’re on our way to that sub-20 goal!

Week 13 and Zeke should get a mention because he's done like 30 kilometers this week. So we did eight today, but we've run a bit this week, probably 30. If not, if I'm wrong, it's more. Week 13 update. Week 12, I mentioned didn't, you know, like the time trial didn't go well. Just it didn't come together on the day. I learned about, Optimal performance is not a switch you just turn on, sometimes it's just not there. You flick the switch and it's empty. But this week the running went well and it ended with Coach Carl saying, Hey, I'll meet you at the track and I'm going to run with you as we do the set. And it was like eight times four hundreds and I smashed it. I was going to say we smashed it. I mean, it was a walk in the park for him. Smashed it. What, what the time he wanted me to do, I smashed and it felt good. And just in the space of just under a week, you know, you can just go from, Oh, I can't believe I couldn't, you know, hold that pace a week ago to just, yeah, amazing. That, you know, one good run. And, you know, during this program, We're now seven what, seven days a week, 13 weeks. I'm not doing the math on that. That's a lot of runs. And then you just, one of them is just this amazing, it all comes together and it makes you just like, yeah, I've got this. We'll be right. Seven weeks to go. Sub 20. We're on our way.
