Project 20 - Week 15 Update | From Slow Start to Personal Bests!
Welcome back to Project 20! Week 15 is done, and it’s been a rollercoaster. It started off with a tough speed session where I couldn’t hit my target pace, but by Friday, things turned around completely. I hit my fastest times ever at multiple distances during a track session, which felt amazing!
I’m feeling tired, but the progress is there. This week, it's back to basic 8km runs before hitting the gas pedal again at parkrun on Saturday to check my progress.

Five to go, five weeks to go, week 15 update and it started off a little bit. I went to speed session on Tuesday morning, hit the gas pedal and it didn't, it didn't quite happen. I couldn't, couldn't get to pace at all. I, so it was one of those weeks where it started where I was a bit, I don't know, it's not coming together again. And then, and just, but I pushed on through the week as normal and went to track on Friday and it came together the fastest I've ever run. At any of those distances. 1200, 1000, 800, 400, 200. stepping down, 2 minute break in between. And I've never run those distances faster than I ever have on Friday. And, on all of them. It was, so it's coming together. Start of the week wasn't too bad. End of the week, like not even the start of the week, end of the week, Tuesday to Friday, massive difference. long run on Saturday then, so I'm tired, I'm tired again. but that's alright, I've got a, it's now a, just the basic 8km now, Monday through to Friday this week. And, we're gonna hit the gas pedal on Saturday, parkrun and see what happens again. And, just to give us a, you know, that every four week check in and see what's happening. So that's week 15 update. I started with, you know. Gas pedal didn't work too. Gas pedal had extra on it by Friday. So, there you go. Week 15.
