Project 20 - Week 19 Update | Rest, Recovery, and Ready to Resume Training
Welcome back to Project 20! Week 19 is done, and it’s been a quieter week as my coach wisely extended my rest period after COVID. While I was eager to get back into training, in hindsight, I realize that the extra rest was exactly what I needed.
Programming is set to recommence next week with speed and strength sessions, and I’m ready to get back to it with five weeks to go.

Well, it's a quick week update this week, week 19 of what was going to be a 20 week program, but you know, thank you. Week 17? No, 16. Well, somewhere between 16 and 17, I got COVID, right? So, probably around 17. So, you know, not much happening this week. Coach, I think in his wisdom has extended my, Rest. So programming commences, recommences Tuesday, which looks exciting for me. And in hindsight, I mean, I just was ready to get back into it because I was so, you know, of the mindset of getting this done and then getting, you know, with the delay, like, all right, let's just not lose any traction. But I've been tired. So I think in hindsight as happened numerous times along this little journey. Coach was right. Not that I was doubting him, but I was ready to get into it. And I just, I think my body is very much ready, more ready because of the break. So not much happening. Week 19, five weeks to go. I have no idea what that looks like. I see in my programming that a speed session's Tuesday. There's some strengths back next week, so Regular programming to recommence is all that it is to say at the moment. Week 19.
