Starting from early 2024, digital product passports will become mandatory in the European Union across various end consumer product segments such as batteries, textiles, buildings, detergents, furniture, paints, toys, tires, mattresses, and cosmetics. Additionally, intermediate products such as aluminum, chemicals, glass, iron and steel, paper, plastics, and non-ferrous metal products are regulated to enable better reuse, repair, and recycling of these materials.
