JJ's Clinical Connections

Celebrating Youth HOPE Month - Safety Net Shelter & Street Outreach Program

Dr. Jennifer Jancsin, Zepf Center Season 1 Episode 6

Welcome to JJ's Clinical Connections! Connecting you to clinical topics.

This November, we’re celebrating Youth HOPE Month, a time to raise awareness for youth experiencing homelessness and to highlight resources that provide security, support, and hope to young people in our community.

This month, Dr. Jancsin is joined by Charles Green and Kristin McKinley, two amazing staff members who work directly with youth in the Safety Net Youth Shelter and through Zepf Center’s Street Outreach Program. In addition to sharing their experiences working with local youth, Charles and Kristin will explain the resources provided by these programs, uncover the realities of youth homelessness in our community, and share opportunities for local stakeholders to support this essential work.
