So let me get this straight. The pastor does his duties as a pastor, right? And then when he's got spare time, he works with ICE. And I mean, really? Yeah, like this is a busy guy, apparently. I don't I don't believe that. I think I I I think Apparently later in the story, sorry to cut you off, but um, apparently there is another person that actually is associated with ice that has the same name. He has a fairly common name. It does happen.

So we get uh we we looking at a file, and we look, of course, what we do as always is we pull up the family's information, find out what's going on, address on file, blah blah blah.

So we go, we start heading that way. It's not far from where we're at. And we get there and we sit and watch this place, and we don't see nothing. We don't see no cars that that mat that match the description that we we had. Um we don't see anybody in and out of there.

There's only one way in, one way out, that front door, and we hit it. All three of us going in, boom, wide open. He's not in there, and the girlfriend's not in there. But the girlfriend's parent, mom is in there, and some other lady was in there. Scared as shit, we scared the shit out of him. So we're out in a boat. We're like, we're we're putting right right around the corner. I come around this island and I see him climbing up on this pontoon boat. And I come up right up to the pontoon boat. Of course, I got my vest on, I got you know, a gun, a badge, everything on, right? Jeez. He's tired, bro. Yeah, yeah. He's tired. And the people, we'll get it right beside his pontoon boat. I'm like, hey guys, he needs to be over here. He's a one fugitive for trafficking drugs and everything else on federal probation. He's he's absconded. He needs to be over. How do we how do we know who you are? I said, man, if you can't tell, if you can't look at me and tell who the hell I am, then you you're you're blind. You're Rachels, man. I said, I said, get him over to on the stamina. So finally he's like, all right, all right. So he he jumps from that boat to our boat and sits down, dude. He was so tired. And he goes, here. So I put handcuffs on him. I look at the dude. I have no idea who this dude is. Yeah. That's driving the boat.

Story Of The Day: “Popeye”

And he's like, We get back to the dock and he goes, Man, I need to go back over to the hotel. I need to get this, that, and the other. I said, Screw you. We're not going back to the hotel. Yeah, so Popeye, so Popeye here, we he's in the back seat of the car and we're headed to Whiteville. And the whole time he he's tired, dude. He like he he he he swam a lot.

He swam hard, but he couldn't swim fast enough. So he he's the whole time he's in the back seat going, hey man, I think I'm gonna throw up. I think I'm gonna throw up. I'm like, dude, if you throw up my car, I'm gonna I'm gonna stop. And we're gonna have words. Like, stop. Like he's uh he wanted us to stop so he could run. That's what he was trying to do.

You have him cuffed in the front or the back?

Uh we had him cuffed in the back.

Okay. Well then that's take off running, you're gonna fall face forward.

Well, yeah, but uh we didn't want to take that chance. And plus we were not far from Mark's place. So we took we called Mark and said, hey, we want to we want to road with Popeye on the way. And uh we get there and he starts he starts fighting with Mark and stuff out of my car. Me, Petey, like he starts fighting us, and we have to drag him, and he's like in just in a bathing suit now, and he's on the pavement hurting himself. I'm like, dude, what are you doing? Like up to the city. Doc wasn't the brightest guy in the world. He was not, but he was going to facing a lot.

He was going to prison for a while. Yeah, he's facing a lot. That's what I thought.

So the whole time he was insulting us in the back seat of the car, I'm like, man, I said, you in the wrong spot to be talking a lot of shit with handcuffs behind your back. Yeah, yeah. I said, now you're gonna go to jail, wet, tired, and you're still going that. So that was my story of Popeye to Sailor Man.

Yeah, I'm and that's the only time I've ever done that with a boat.

Well, I mean, it was right beside me. I looked at it, I said, hey bro, I need to use a boat. He's like, All right, I said, drive me out there. He's like, okay. I said, okay, cool. I got on the boat. I was like, I've never done this before. I thought it was funny. As soon as as soon as I got back, I told you about it. I was like, ain't this some shit? You know? I'm taking pictures. Uh, great story. This is why we did this podcast because of stories like that.

I'm gonna use this story as a um reason to get a boat for my uh for my tax guy. Yeah. And write it off, you know. I've been trying to trying to figure that in, you know, how to do it.
