Morning by Morning, November 27, 2024 - “Arise, Shine!” - Isaiah 60 Prophetic Declaration for My Wife Rocio’s 60th Birthday Today!
Good morning, Lord Jesus. I lift up the eyes of my spirit to seek Your face and listen for Your leading to begin my day embraced by my Father, centered in Christ, and filled with the Holy Spirit. ...
Today is my wife Rocio’s 60th Birthday! (For my fellow “Gringo” friends, that’s pronounced “Roh-See-Oh”). And the words from Isaiah 60 come to mind to celebrate her 60th year:
“Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you!” (Isaiah 60:1)
Thank You for the Light of Your Glory that arises upon her, that shines through her!
It’s Your Light. It’s Your Glory. It’s “Christ in (her), the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). ”For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made His Light shine in our hearts to give us the Light of the Knowledge of God’s Glory displayed in the face of Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6).
Lord Jesus, You are the Light of the World (John 8:12). And You said that when Your light shines through us, “(we) are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14).
Let Your Light shine through my wife Rocio this year more than ever before. As Your Word also declares in Isaiah 60, let her be “radiant” and let “(her) heart swell with joy!” (Isaiah 60:5) Let this be for her a year of radiance and joy with the Light of Your glory arising and shining through her as never before! And may You draw many to Your Light shining through her! (Isaiah 60:3) In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
