Morning by Morning, March 28, 2025 - “Pray for One Another, that You May Be Healed”
Good morning, Lord Jesus. You are with me “always,” and I attune my spirit to Your Presence here in these first moments of my morning (Matthew 28:20). ...
“Pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16).
We were so honored to teach practical healing prayer ministry for church leaders and home group leaders on our last night of ministry in the central Mexico city of Toluca last night before moving on to the city of Acambaro today. A brave young leader offered herself as a living example for us to pray for her in the model You’ve given me for inner healing--what I call “healing from in the inside out” to experience and encounter with You for the healing of our heart and emotions and mindsets where we get stuck in the hurts and wounds of our past that can manifest in our present bodies, relationships, and every area of our lives.
I led her through what I call “The 3 Rs” of Reveal, Remove, and Replace. By Your Holy Spirit, You led her to the “bad root” of a painful experience that was bearing “bad fruit” in her current physical and emotional struggles. We saw her tears of cleansing and releasing from that experience of her past that was manifesting in pain and struggles today, as You empowered her to “let it go” while You revealed it, removed it, and replaced it with something so much better! Then we saw her tears of joy and heart of praise to thank You for the sense of Your cleansing, Living Waters flowing through her body, followed by the purifying Holy Fire of Your Spirit healing her, freeing her, and filling her up again (Ephesians 5:18).
Then we had a beautiful, powerful time the same kind of experience with our host family in the home where we’re staying! What a profound evening of Your healing Presence!
Lord, I pray the same for all who join with me in these prayers—that all would experience the healing love of God in Your power to set us free from all that would hold us back from being all You’ve created us to be. Thank for the blessings of the grace of God we can experience in these encounters with You, as we “pray for one another, that (we) may be healed,” recognizing You are with us “always” in our past and present and future--in our traumas and pain, in our struggles or sins, in our praises and joy. “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with (us) all” (2 Corinthians 13:14). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
