Filled Afresh with the Breath of the Holy Spirit - Morning by Morning, April 22, 2025
“And when (Jesus) had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit’” (John 20:22).
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to (Your) mercy (You) have saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5).
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).

Morning by Morning, April 22, 2025 - Filled Afresh with the Breath of the Holy Spirit
Good morning, Lord Jesus. My spirit arises to greet Your Spirit, here in these first moments of my morning.
“And when (Jesus) had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit’” (John 20:22).
Breathe on me, Holy Spirit of God. Breathe on me, “Spirit of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:19). Fill me afresh with a fresh breath of Your Spirit. As Your Word says, and even commands of us, “Be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18).
Fill my lungs with Your praise. Fill my heart with Your passions. Fill my mind with Your thoughts. Fill my mouth with Your words. Fill my spirit with Your Spirit. Let Your Presence infuse my soul—my “whole spirit, soul, and body” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
By the power of Your grace, I embrace Your invitation to “Receive the Holy Spirit.” I receive renewed life, renewed passion, renewed determination to seek Your face, to follow Your ways, to be the child of God and disciple of Christ You created me and called me to be--not in my strength but in Your power, not in my goodness but in Your righteousness.

Increase my capacity to breathe in Your Spirit, as You breathe on me. Fill me afresh that You can overflow anew through me this day and every day. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
