Morning by Morning, May 30, 2025 - “In All Things”

Good morning, Lord Jesus. King of Kings and Lord of Lords, come rule and reign in my heart and life today. ...

As I wait on the leading of Your Spirit this morning, the phrase “in all things” comes up from my spirit and into my mind. ...

And this Word:

“God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8). ...

Wow, that’s a lot of “alls.”

“All things.” “All times.” “All that (I) need.”

And the purpose of providing for me, blessing me abundantly in “all” this is so that I “will abound in every good work.”

So what I sense You are speaking to me through Your Word and by Your Spirit today is to allow You to line up my heart, my attitude, my perspective, my motives with “every good work” that You desire to fulfill through me. As I do, You are able to “bless (me) abundantly” for Your purposes through my life.

First, I seek You; I surrender to You; I submit to You. First, I entrust all that I am and all that I have, all I ever will be and all I’ll ever have, to You. First I seek the Kingdom of God and Your righteousness. Then “all” these things shall be added unto me (Matthew 6:33). Then I’ll have the abundance of Your blessings “in all things,” “at all times,” in “all that (I) need.”

Thank You, Lord. Keep renewing my mind (Romans 12:2). Keep renewing my spirit (Psalm 51:10). Keep lining up my thoughts with Your thoughts, my desires with Your desires, my motives with Your motives, my purposes with Your purposes, that I may experience the abundance of Your blessings “in all things.” Thank You for the Promise of Your Word: “Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him” (Jeremiah 17:7). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
