“He Will Glorify Me” — The Holy Spirit Glorifies Jesus - Morning by Morning, June 16, 2025
“When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take what is Mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is Mine; therefore I said that He will take what is Mine and declare it to you” (John 16:13-15).

Good morning, Lord Jesus. I look up and listen in for the leading of Your Spirit to begin my day embraced by my Father, centered in Christ, and filled with the Holy Spirit. ...

Lord Jesus, You said of the Holy Spirit, “He will glorify Me.” ...
That’s the main way we can discern and know if we are Spirit-filled and Spirit-led: Are You being glorified in our hearts? Are You being glorified in our thoughts, desires, words, and actions? Are You being glorified in our prayers, plans, perspectives, priorities, and purposes? ...
As You said of Your first disciples, so You continue to speak by Your Spirit into the hearts of each of Your true disciples today:
“If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him” (John 12:26).
Come, Holy Spirit. Arise within me, as You glorify Jesus in my heart and through my life today. Lord Jesus, be glorified in me today and in my life as I follow You and serve You every day. Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting to Jesus all that is Yours, so that all that is Yours may be declared to me and each of us who are Your sons and daughters of God, to be embraced by us and lived out through us as disciples of Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
