Morning by Morning, August 7, 2025 - “King of Glory” in King’s City and Throughout the Earth
Good morning, Lord Jesus. Help me begin my day embraced by my Father, centered in Christ, and filled with the Holy Spirit. ...
“For the Lord is our Judge,
The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us” (Isaiah 33:22).
In the King’s City community of Nyeri, Kenya, we held our outdoor crusade gatherings our last week in the country. We prayer walked the community, praying in person for the people as we went, while praying for their shops and families, their needs they expressed and their hopes they desired. Not many refused the opportunity of prayer, as we prayed in the mighty name of Jesus.
The community was originally named after a tribal king, but we prayed and prophetically declared that the people of this community would experience the breakthrough and revival of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! (Revelation 19:16) For “the Lord is our King; He will save us!” (Isaiah 33:22) There is salvation, breakthrough, and revival in no other name! (Acts 4:12)
Just like in King’s City, come rule and reign in my heart, King Jesus. You take Your place of authority and majesty, of Savior and Lord, in every area of my life, of my community, of my nation.
“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein....
“Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory!” (Psalm 24:1, 9-10)
Fulfill the Promise of Your Word in me and in Your Body throughout the earth: “But truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord” (Numbers 14:21). “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea!” (Habakkuk 2:14) As the hymn of battle and victory declares, “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!” Open the eyes of every heart to see You and the coming of Your glory, King Jesus! (Ephesians 1:18) In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
