Morning by Morning, August 14, 2025 - “Power Perspective”
Good morning, Lord Jesus. Lord of my life, Savior of my soul, be at the heart of all I am and all I’ll do today. ...
As I wait on Your leading this morning, what comes to my heart is this:
“Power Perspective.” ...
And this: “I empower you with My perspective. I give you a perspective that empowers you to overcome and succeed in My victory over every battle you engage and every challenge you encounter.” ...
Yes, Lord. What is this perspective?” ...
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Yes, Lord. Let this be my perspective. No matter what battle I engage, no matter what challenge I encounter, may Your Spirit remind me and empower me with this perspective, this attitude, this fortitude of determination to look up to You and rejoice, to persist with You in prayer, to thank You in everything because You’re with me through everything—as best as I can and all by Your grace.
“Thanks be to God, who gives (me) the victory through (my) Lord Jesus Christ!” (1 Corinthians 15:57) “Thanks be to God who always leads (me) in triumph in Christ!” (2 Corinthians 2:14) In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
