Fire on the Earth! - Morning by Morning, December 4, 2025
“I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” (Luke 12:49)
“My Fire is kindled. And I am sending My Fire on the earth. For I am a Consuming Fire! I will consume all that is not yet like Me in the hearts of all who will open up to Me and embrace My Consuming Fire! Leaving neither root nor branch of what is no longer to remain, but bringing forth My fruit from My Vine, reaching out through My people who are called by My name, whose hearts are surrendered to My Flame. My burning ones. My all-consumed ones. This is the Fire I have kindled. This is the Fire I am releasing on the earth. Embrace My Flame!”
“For our God is a Consuming Fire!” (Hebrews 12:29)

Morning by Morning, December 4, 2025 — Fire on the Earth!
Good morning, Lord Jesus. Let my praises go up and Your glory come down. Here in my heart and every moment of my day. ...
As I rise this morning, I’m still thinking of our time of worship and prayer at the home of friends last night. Intercession turned to prayer for our nation and looking into the flames of the fireplace before me, You brought Your words to mind from the Word of God:
“I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” (Luke 12:49)
You spoke those words over two thousand years ago. That fire was not kindled then. But it is now!
There is a fire of God that is kindled, being fanned into flame. Your Spirit is that Flame. I’m still hearing in my heart what You were proclaiming last night:

Consume me with Your Fire, Lord. Burn everything out of me that is not yet like You. Let me be one of Your burning ones. Kindle Your Fire, fan Your Flame in me. In me and in all who are called by Your name and willing to embrace Your Flame. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
