Morning by Morning, December 15, 2025 – “Know the Love of Christ” this Christmas
Good morning, Lord Jesus. As I start my day centered in You, I open my heart to embrace You. ...
“That Christ may dwell in (my) heart through faith,” that I may “know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that (I) may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Dwell in my heart, Lord Jesus.
Just as You came to dwell in the womb of Mary, dwell in my heart. Just as the Holy Spirit filled her womb with Your Presence, come fill me with Your Spirit.
Just as it was hard to image that the King of Glory would humble Yourself in the likeness of human flesh and blood to born of a woman in a humble manger, it’s hard to imagine that we could be “filled with all the fullness of God.”
Only by Your grace. Only in Your love. Only in the “love of Christ which passes knowledge.”
It “passes knowledge” because it’s so hard to imagine, so hard to believe it’s true. That You would do that for us, to be so near to us. Immanuel – God with us (Isaiah 7:14, fulfilled in Matthew 1:23).
But it is true. And in Your truth, I choose to honor You, to believe in You, to embrace You and Your love for me during this Christmas season and in every season, this day and every day. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
