Morning by Morning, February 2, 2026 – “Christ Who is Our Life”
Good morning, Lord Jesus. Be at the heart and center of all I am and all I do, today and every day. ...
“When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory” (Colossians 3:4).
Lord, what do You mean in Your Word when You speak of “Christ who is our life”? ...
As I wait, what I hear in my heart is this:
“When you give your life to me, I live My life in you and I live My life through you. I put My thoughts in your mind, My desires in your heart, My words in your mouth. I express My will through your life, as My ways become your ways. No one does this perfectly, but everyone can desire this to be their attitude of heart and perspective of mind. And no one can do any of this apart from Me, but everyone can willingly choose by the power of My grace and abiding Presence of My Spirit to seek to fully surrender all of their life to all of Me. These are those who can truly say, ‘Christ is my life.’” ...
Yes, Lord. As best as I can and all by Your grace, I willingly choose for this to be my attitude of heart and perspective of mind. Lord, let it be so. Let Christ be my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
