Morning by Morning, March 24, 2026 — Christ is Life
Good morning, Lord Jesus. King of Kings and Lord of Lords, come rule and reign in my heart and life (Revelation 19:16). ...
“When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory” (Colossians 3:4).
You are my life. ...
Lord Jesus, help me understand more of what this means. ...
Here’s what comes to my heart and rises up to mind:
“I am the way and the truth and the life. To the degree you embrace Me as your way, as your truth, as your life, I am your life. Abide in Me and allow Me to abide in you. Live in Me and allow Me to live in you.” ...
Yes, Lord. These Scriptures come to mind from Your written Word in confirmation of what I believe I’m hearing as Your spoken word, in the way You say, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27):
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.... If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love” (John 15:4-5, 7-10).
By the power of Your grace, in Your mercy and love, keep transforming me, keep renewing my mind, keep making me more like You with Your way, Your truth, and Your life being formed in me (Romans 12:1-2). Keep conforming me into the image of the Son of God (Romans 8:29). Keep making me more like You every day, “because as (You are), so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17).
Christ is life. Christ is my life. Thank You for the grace You give me to embrace this truth and live into it throughout the moments of my days. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
