Morning by Morning, May 14, 2026 — Jesus—The Reason for our Hope
Good morning, Lord Jesus. I welcome You here in my heart and every moment of my day. ...
“But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15 ESV).
Lord Jesus, I honor You as holy in my heart. I honor You as Lord of my life. I honor Your name that is above every name and Your heart that is the perfect expression of the Heart of God my Father, moving in me and my life by the Presence of God the Holy Spirit.
You’re the reason for my hope. You are my Hope.
As I open my heart to You, as I live my life for You and allow You to live Your Life through me, You bring Your hope to every heart who will hear and receive the Good News of Your mercy and love, Your power and presence. You change our hearts and renew our minds, as we continually offer ourselves to You, bringing breakthrough and revival and awakening in us and through us and to all who will embrace You are their Hope.
Revival in our world begins with revival in our hearts. Breakthrough in our circumstances begins when allow You to break into our lives and begin changing our hearts from the inside out. Lord Jesus, let Your breakthrough revival awaken in me and flow through me everywhere You send me, as I honor You in my heart this day and every day. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
