Morning by Morning, July 22, 2026 — “This is the Way, Walk in It”
Good morning, Lord Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit as I open up Your Word and follow Your leading. …
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,
“This is the way, walk in it,”
Whenever you turn to the right hand
Or whenever you turn to the left. (Isaiah 30:21)
Lord, let it be Your word I hear. Let it be Your way I walk in today.
Show me when to turn to the right or the left, when to advance and when to rest. Make me more sensitive to Your Spirit and more discerning of Your voice.
Few of us will ever hear Your audible voice with our physical ears. But all of us can hear Your still, small voice speaking in our spirit—Spirit to spirit, Heart to heart, Deep to deep. If we’re willing to listen and learn to discern Your voice from our own and every other voice that would try to lead us in its own way instead of Your way.
As You confirmed this truth in Your Word, You said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).
Let me hear You. Let me know You. Let me be known by You. So I can follow You wherever You lead today. Help me learn to discern Your leading throughout the moments of my day. It’s part of my inheritance as a child of God. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God” (Romans 8:14). In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
